STUPID FILM
by zaffar on May 13, 2006 10:26 PM  Permalink

Dear Viewers,

Darna Zaroori hai is the worst film i ever saw from RGV, with Granny telling the seducive unfinished horror stories the kids just dont digest to the viewers. May be the RGV company has really gone mad and don't have anything new to tell.

Too Bad
by Manish on May 06, 2006 11:05 PM  Permalink

I don't know what RGV's thinking was behind making this movie. It's hopeless!!! People just come to see the movie looking at his banner! Ramu, please stop making such movies before people stop believing in you!

Total disaster!
by beautiful_mind on May 05, 2006 06:21 AM  Permalink

This movie is total waste of time and money.

Good thing is that I could see this without spending a penny but still I felt so stupid after watching this.

Please trust me and don't waste your valuable time on this.

I simply could not get why RGV made this movie.

I must agree that RGV had gone little mad!

Ramsay or Ramu: Who is 'bhoot'er
by Rhynaah on May 04, 2006 01:14 AM  Permalink

Well, i don't expect many ppl to like DZH. After all it was the multitude that allowed the Ramsay brothers to flourish for more than a decade.

RGV trying to be India's Stephen King, but Alas!!!
by Rakesh on May 03, 2006 02:58 PM  Permalink

India's first "Portmanteau" or not (I'm sure Raja sen used this terminology to instigate more debate and get heated, or otherwise reviews), I believe RGV is trying to revitalise India's horror movies market and change style from the pathetic "Khuni Aatma" types to something more watchable and of better standards. His latest attempts "Darna mana/zaroori hai" would remind many of similar US sequels Urban Gothics, Kingdom Hospital, Creepshow, Tales from the crypt etc. These movies are also basically a collection of horror stories with a punchline or moral in every story. Where RGV fails miserably is in the execution and details bit. The stories are far too short and poor in details to build the tension. And lastly, RGV, please remember that these collection of short stories ("Portmanteau" or however Raja Sen loves to call them to show his vocabulary skills) are basically good for TV serials. They seldom do good business in big silver screens.
