The title suggests that only tamil films are unrealistic & rest of the indian movies are very realistic.Its a very very inappropriate title. Actually there r more realistics tamil movies than bollywood.The title would've been appropriate for a bollywood & not kollywood.
There are many acclaimed creators in tamil filmdom, such as Mahendran, Balachandar, Balu Mahendra, Maniratnam, Bala and Cheran, who have made some memorable and realistic movies over the years. Some movies that stand out in recent memory are Azhagi, Pithamagan, Autograph, Azhagiya theeye, Vishwa thulasi and Kaadhal. These movies have been as good as any "realistic" movie being made in Bollywood, let alone in the country :) I feel that the reviewer's comment on the realism in tamil movies, or the lack thereof, is a bit far-fetched. Makes me wonder whether the reviewer has enough knowledge and exposure to tamil movies.
