Boss...your review seemed to be longer than the movie itself...and yes I know u got a great command over your inglis....but bhaayan...don't tell the entire story and fill it up and package it as a review...now that u have told methe story I don't think I will go for the movie....I fear it is as dragful as your review!!! Pah...
people do u know what reviews r?they r supposed to be crisp and short and make ya wanna watch the movie coz ur intrigued by the reviews.if u tell the whole story and make it so long people first won't have the patience to read and second u gotta make it interesting.it seems like the stories my grandma says.boring with a capital 'B'.so thats my comment.u trash this or u read it is not my problem but u asked for comments and here it is.adios
Hi Sen, I have been reading your articles for a while now. I got this feeling straight away - now it is confirmed. A writers target is to portray content - skill comes in spicing it up or juicing it up...analogies, comments, play on words....they are like nice side dishes.
But you seem to get carried away with trying to portray your knowledge and command over the language (Which, i must agree, is quite impressive).
I am not a believer in trying to follow another persons foot steps entirely. However, it is a good idea to draw inspiration from others, especially colleagues - Take the reviews and commentries from Dilip D'souza, Arthur J Pais, Prem Panicker, Dinesh Raheja etc.
I will sum it up this way - Beyond a point, your articles become excessive in the way it is written. This is boredom of a different type.
Writing has to be smooth and the flow has to be consistent. Sadly, grammatical consistency (Forget about accuracy) is not a factor any more these days.
I can see a lot of talent in your writing. But it needs a little rethink.

very articulately put and to the point ...
raja - take a break and think about what content you want to put in the review instead of just trying to make a non-existent point
how about you start by watching some of the movies you write about ...
I haven't caught this movie yet. Will do so after my weekend's trip to Thailand. But I do have one thing to say that is Raja Sen's writing abilities. Dude you rock with your languauge. Keep going. And mind you it is no easy task bringing out Angelina Jolie's sex appeal through words. Cheers
