This is a very sad day for the state of West Bengal. Despite valiant attempts at wooing investors, the State has not been able to achieve much in terms of industrialisation - thanks to its culture of Bandhs and strikes!TATA's leaving the State with its Nano plant will obviously discourage other prospective investors putting in their investment in this State.

Where is Bodoland?Please call the place by Indian name not seperatists language!Or elese press your local govt to change the name of the state!

people like you make assam a terror place where no investors really want to invest.What is bodoland..are you not in assam? Your people made lower assam a place where people live in terror.Living in a beautful state like Assam and not calling yourself assamese(indian) is your main problem.
Mamata is the first lady who always think nagatively when CPIM think positively.It is only for her political approach. When project started she was not active regarding land refund but when 85 % project completed and she got max. position in panchayet election she think it is the better time.
I feel Mamata committed two major mistakes and this time it will be TATA TMC! She played hereelf in a Point of No return situation, did not leave any escape route. In Maharashtra, Datta Samant committed the same mistake and ruined his empire. Mamata's first mistake was to leave BJP and in same breath join with congress during last assembly elections. I think she has played into the hands of CPM and will be nowhere in the next elections. Singur is her political epitaph
