What great job from all of you !!!!!
by Thomas Mathew on Sep 02, 2008 09:26 PM  Permalink

Mamathaji,
You have done the great job!! congratulation!!!
Do you know most of the hard working and intelligent (even if they are illiterate)Bengali's are shuttling to and fro in different parts of the country to get the daily wages ??
Do you know that the amount of struggle and humiliation they are facing from the police and the contractors in other states for survival ??
Let your/our people work in their own native place with dignity. Do not take away their right and opportunity for your simple political mileage.

Tata's also done very good job !!!. Where is your so called brain bank ?? Do not they know the agriculture land and the activities are prime for growth of country ?? Were you blind while starting the construction in a fertile land ? As a responsible corporate you should have selected a land which is non-cultivable.

PLEASE LEARN FROM THIS AND ALSO KNOW THAT PEOPLE ARE MORE AWARE COMPARED OLDEN DAYS.

CPM's double standard is also exposed. In kerala they are forcing the people do the agriculture activity even if it is not profitable and shortage of labor . In West Bengal they are converting agriculture land to Industrial land.
What great policy !!!!

Shame on Indian Politics
by prakash pandey on Sep 02, 2008 09:24 PM  Permalink

It is not only shame on Mamta part or Left part. They are shameless. But, it is shame on part of all of us as how we hv selected such negligent govts in India who oppose Tata Nano, Nuclear Deal, etc, etc.

Now i feel, our governance pattern should change and it is in our hands to remove all such Netas and Parties who are not conducive for India Growth Story.

by Ibrahim Masood on Sep 02, 2008 09:23 PM  Permalink

It is very bad news for people of West Bengal. Shame on you Mamta.......you are playing with people's life and spoiling their lifes. Stop this non-sense. What are you gaining from all this. This kind of activities will bring bad news for India as well. There is a direct effect on FDI. Please think about India but not about your personal interest. All the best Tata............Hope this things will not happen again with any coporates anymore.

Mad are those who do not have mental balance.

Atrocious are those who use their cunning sense to disbalance the normal path of civilization of the mankind.Kind of the statements have been used by this animal against world's one of the most respected industrialist , as a Bengali i feel ashamed...To some extent , TATA have done right thing to move out of this murky ambience and thereby maintains it's stature and respectability.

Mamat(h)a is the greatest disaster that could ever happen to Bengal. The tactlessness of Buddha is also painful. The time has come for positive movements. This can happen when economics prevails over politics.

Well done Ratan Tata!!!!!!!!!!!
by pranesh joshi on Sep 02, 2008 09:21 PM  Permalink

although in paper we have 4 metro but in true sense we only have 3 metros except Kolkata, this is only because of comm govt. people over there are so fool and uneducated, they always elect comm party inspite of being beaten by them for last so many years. Look at Gurgaon, Mumbai, Delhi, Bangalore and even chennai u'll find lots of Bengalis in higher position in private as well as govt jobs. Why is it so? Because they don't want to live in their home land. No other metro people are outside their home land than people of Kolkata. why don't these people vote for parties other than communist. well done Tata. They shud move out of Bengal.

Peaceful March
by ABHIJEET PODDAR on Sep 02, 2008 09:21 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

All bengalies wherever they are should unite together, do a peaceful march in regard to the black day in bengal & show that we are in favour of industralisation & coming up of more companies & industries in WB. We want youth to get job. What has happen today is a shameful act by mamata & this a worst Durga puha gift she has given to the state in recent years. What could have been biggest gift from tata this durga puja will be now be no more. This bcoz of mamata. I request all bengalies to unite together & show mamata that how they r ashamed of mamata acts & what disgrace she has become to WB & for all bengalies living around the world.

It's sad
by Reddy on Sep 02, 2008 09:20 PM  Permalink

It's sad to suspend the project after spending several hundreds of crores. Good luck to TATA as other states are lined up for red carpet welcome. It's shame on WB govt, mamatha and last bengalis.
