Loosers are the peoples
by Shiby Mathew on Sep 02, 2008 09:37 PM  Permalink

Looser are the peoples of those states. Unfortunately Bengal and Kerala will always remains as 'farmer' and 'unemployment' peoples states since all opportunities of growths are clipped on beginning stage itself.

Politicians very well know that once state become rich and peoples have enough employment opportunity they never get the ‘followers’ and criminal to execute their agendas and sustain their power.

Peoples are so stupid never realize when one industry closedown due to some political agenda is really screwing up their future. This will be a ‘case study’ for any industrialist/corporate person to not choose those places as an investment destination. If TATA suffer like this in INDIA think about another foreign or Indian investor.

they deserve this
by reformer on Sep 02, 2008 09:36 PM  Permalink

The land of Bandh desrve this. Bongs are intellectuals but they didn't understand/care for future generations. They are too short sighted. They try to stick to one particular principle and win. But in long term, its a big loss.

Today bengal is burning in poverty. Kolkata is a city of slums. The most of literate people has to flee the state for the sake of career. And what abt farmers? Do they earn more than farmers for gujrat(so called capatalist state)

So ultimately this state is going to be poor and poor only. Just an example, when 5th pay commission was implemented, the kerala/wb were almost bankrupt. From where money will come?

Bong Guys - Get out of Bengal. What the world does today, bengal will not do even tomorrow
by Singha on Sep 02, 2008 09:36 PM  Permalink

There are Bongs out their in Singur who back her. And they are more in number than the likes of you and those that live in Kolkata and at other urban centers.

Commie base in bengal was based on two actions:

1. land reforms
2. muslim immigration from Bongdesh.

Commies are now trying to undo land reforms. So their erstwhile base could be moving away.

Beneficiaries are too powerful politically (they have the numbers). India is not china where resistance from majority can be brushed aside.

And of course bajaj seth (rahul, manufacturer of fourth rate scooters is financing Mamata). This is understandable as the bottom line of this third rate company wil be most affected by timely launch of Nano.

bajaj seth.

bajaj makes some of the worst two wheelers in the world.

Their bottomline would be maximum hit by the nano launch.

We need neither Bajaj scooters nor Nano cars. We need mass transportation and cycle tracks to minimize pollution as well as the imbalance of payments caused by import of oil.

MAMTA the ECCENTRIC
by sutanu on Sep 02, 2008 09:35 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

MAMTA BANERJEE is always eccentric. Throughout her political life she had time & again taken wrong steps. SHE IS VERY OPPORTUNIST SHE CHEATS EVERYBODY & THE PEOPLE WHENEVER SHE FEELS THAT IS GOOD FOR HER. SHE CHEATED ATALJI & BJP JUST BEFORE THE WEST BENGAL ASSEMBLY ELECTION & LOST THE GOLDEN CHANCE OF BECOMING CHIEF MINISTER OF WB. THIS TIME ALSO SHE CHEATED BENGAL & HER DREAM OF BECOMING CM OF WB IS GONE FOR EVER IN THE BAY OF BENGAL

Shame Shame WEST BENGAL and Mamata 3 cheers to Ratan Tata
by S Seshan on Sep 02, 2008 09:34 PM  Permalink

Mamta Banerjee should be ashamed of what she did. She has permanantly shut down the door to the Industrialisation Process in West Bengal. This was an oppurtuity for West Bengal . Look at the status of Jute Industry in West Bengal. This is an oppurtunity lost and lost forever .Today all investor across the globe would think 100 times before investing in Bengal.

Why madam mamta is doing only she can know .Probably the move is get some populist vote .Today Trinamool has no representation in the Lok Sabha.

At one point of time we all thought we have a leader who will do great for bengal and the country .But she has let everyone down in a big way .

3 cheers to Ratan Tata who did not bother about his 1500 crore investment and thought more about the safety of his employee. Here is a person who was not intimidated by the politician's arm twisting with a hope that they can have their way .

This is not the first time that a project got halted due to politiacn interferance. Dhabol Project -way the project went into the drain as the aspirations of the politician were not fullfilled .Today politician in Maharashtra are reponsible for the power crisis.
Top it the CM wants the Nano plant to be shifted to Maharashtra where id the power for the plant going to come .Do you want another Dhabol to happen to Tatas Nano .

It is time we all support Mr.Ratan Tata in his endevour to bring a janta car

3 cheers Ratan Tata
