Bad Politics.
by Upadrasta PardhaSaradhi on Sep 02, 2008 11:17 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

All parties have the same policy on Special Economic Zones. While at the Centre, the CPI (M) is opposing SEZs, in West Bengal it is seeking to implement the concept in Singur. The Trinamool Congress is opposed to the project with the BJP, which has always supported SEZs, and the Congress, which is for more and more SEZs, supporting it. It is clear that it is not policy but politics that matters.

That is a very good observation that a lot of people are missing out on.

Instead of blaberring foolishly about differences between communities we need to see it for what it is.

by G S on Sep 02, 2008 11:09 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

There are still plenty of wasteland non cultivated in West Bengal. Why all is after land at Singur.
Let us put an end to this land issue.

We will judge politics later, need of hour is to get TATAs back...if TATA can start anywhere then why not start in some barren land in west bengal.

24 parganas, WB.

Nano Project
by ARUN PURI on Sep 02, 2008 11:07 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Well done Tata ! Politicians like Ms. Banerjee have no agenda except garnering political mileage at any cost. WB has been robbed off a great project which would have changed the picture of the state. Let Mamta enjoy the meaningless support which is always shortlived. To what extent the prospects of WB will get hurted - no body knows. But its certainly "BLACK DAY" for West Bengal and Mamta is the person who is responsible for this backlash. Such politicians should be send to South Pole where they are neede the most.

whatever ms banerjee is doing that was practiced by the left parties for fifty years. if she is power today left would have done much havoc. being in power they called twelve bandh in year. using most feritle land (most important natural resource) for industry purpose is not good for the country. there is five hundred acres of waste land within five hundred meters could have been allotted to tatats. they are allotted this land at free of cost. why always poors farmers sacrifice their land for industry and what they in turn. history tells nothing. its all about prestige issue. tatas, left govt. & mamatas. it is whos creidt, making a car at a price of one lk tatas , small farmers or govt. who gave the land at a rent of one crore per year.

Get lost TATA . Move to some other place . People of West Bengal will continue to progress.

India needs more investments in health, infrastructure, etc rather than making a stupid car.

Dear RAtan TATA saheb.....

Bengali mamta banarjee is more busy and interested in Authorising the unauthorised bangladeshis in West bengal ....thats her vote bank.....

looking at the singur farmers , primarily it can be noticed that singur farmers and the prime land owners / capturers are Bangladeshis ....

Mamta is only interested in her vote bank ...and the Left communists ( they cannot be right , because every body knows left hand is used for ...........haan sahi hai ) are busy in capturing the local bangali , muslim , bangladeshi vote banks ........
So Tata ji .......ok tata Bye Bye .........Why tatas want to increase car population in india god knows .......Traffic Traffic Traffic = Air Polution = Social unrest.

Now mamata will celebrate with her illiterate supporters alongwith sense less Medha tai Patkar .....( one should direct a movie with Medha tai patkar and NANO PAtekar as lead roles = Krantiveeerni Krantiveer = double treat )

Ok TATA Bye Bye ...Horn Please.

All india Truck Transport association ......pomp pomp pomp.......

Commies at receiving end
by Hello on Sep 02, 2008 11:05 PM  Permalink

Good to see commies who tried to block Indo US nuke deal on chinese order is learning a good lesson from Mamta. The very same commies who stalled projects in many parts of the country thought that they can push capitalism in West Bengal using Buddha.Mamta played left role against the lefts.WB has to pay and these people has to know what kind of politicians they elect in election after election. Now other people also has to come and protest against all types of vehicles on the road which emit poisonous gasaes.PM has to make sure every citizen is entitled to good air. Then bring progress.

Tata shuts Nano plant at Singur
by Ashish Sanyal on Sep 02, 2008 11:05 PM  Permalink

I feel we should very seriously think before voting for this type of political figure, who can only strike work and do nothing conclusive. They are expert in nothing and bring forth only confusion and loss of precious time and money. They are netither good for the farmers nor the investors, like Ratan Tata who has brought India to The Industrial Map of World. They neither do any fruitfull work nor allow any one to do so. The worst part is these so called leader, at end of the day conviniently shrugs off the loss of TIME & money, and blame is passedon to some one else, then preach that Time IS Money.
