Stalinist CPIM gives no space to opposition
by Dipak Ghosh on Sep 03, 2008 06:18 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

After 2006 election, arrogant Buddhu asked: We are 235, THEY (Trinamool) is 30.

Now, STALINIST CPIM IS PAID BACK BY SAME COIN BY MAMATA.

Shame, the state is the looser.

Smart Move
by Rahul Patel on Sep 03, 2008 06:05 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Commie-ruled states are not suitable for any type of industry...even if the plant was operational, the unions would have shut it down for most of the year anyway. Better to go to a business-friendly environment. I'm afraid West Bengal's government is only friendly to Bangladeshi illegals and unions...

Yes, Rahul. I agree 100%. West Bengal has made a mockery of nation building. They consider themselves cultured but today they starve. All educated people from that state come to Delhi to find work and say Delhiites are shit. Imagine. Also, a state that was divided on the basis of Hindus and Muslims, is today 25% Muslim. Punjab is maybe 1% Muslim. Shame on West Bengal. Can't even fight illegal immigration. I know Hindu Bengalis will give jobs to illegal immigrants from Bangladesh even outside Bengal.

Mamta & Buddadeb can celebrate now !
by SS Kumar on Sep 03, 2008 05:54 AM  Permalink

If TATAs have finally quite Singur, it is time for Mamta to celebrate by eating bheesn bheesn rosogullas & singing Rabindranath Tagore songs rolling over not over the disputed 400 acres but also the balance 1000 acres !! The problem with communists is that they have zero vision of what it takes to set up successfully a big enterprise. All they have learnt over the last 60-80 years is how to hold the red flag and organize bundhs and shout slogans. One really does pity the people of Bengal for not being able to get progressive visionary leadership
for a change. No wonder the state is rapidly slipping economically day by day against Gujarat, Tamilnadu, Andhra etc. and will continue to slip by supporting such decadent,
incompetent leaders.

Powerful and yet Pathetic Mamta.
by Nishant Ojal on Sep 03, 2008 05:46 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Mamta Banerjee has shown her power by practically removing Nano from Bengal. No one person in this country could stop her. Congrats to her. But I think she should have devoted her power the other way.

Yet it is pathetic that she makes contradictory statements like work should go on and return land to farmers etc..Pathetic that once Tata moves out, leave the foreign investors, local investors will think thousand times before setting anything in West Bengal.

All states have to develope otherwise terrorist will come up
by New Yorker on Sep 03, 2008 05:43 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Every state has to develop if India has to develop peacefully in years to come otherwise we'll see flood of people from poorer sections coming to richer state. USA learnt that and so is helping others to gain wealth for its own peaceful existance.

Come on..
by arun dudani on Sep 03, 2008 05:26 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Hey Come on guys, everyone knows most Bengali politicians and other left leaders are front for Chinese government in India. West Bengal is like one large diplomatic outpost for China for which it does not have to even pay rent.
How can then, anything which contributes to development of India be operated from Chinese diplomatic territory (read West Bengal).
Tatas were foolish to have invested in West Bengal. A well deserved lesson for them. Next time they will go for some sensible investment in place like Gujarat which is really friendly to industrialists

To clear the record, I am not a Gujrati, I have never been to Gujrat or Bengal either but as follower of my country's progress - Gujrat is better place for investment any day.

You name sounds Sindhi who happened to have come and settled down in Gujrat. Regular Indians do not hold such contempt towards another Indian, let alone a state. No wonder whole of Sindh is under Pakistani control.
Whatever is ging on in WB is unfortunate-very very bad politicians running the state for last 30 years and has pulled it down from glory to Poverty and shame. Hope something good will come out of this fiasco for WB at the end.

"WE" starts from "I" or in other words "I" combines to "WE".

Until and unless, "I" am changing, "WE" is not going to change.
