Mr Prem Kumar,

Please ask all industries get out from Culcutta. You enjoy with your people to go elsewhere like Keralites and beg other states for Job or start Tea Stall.

I second that, yet we will have to wait until the two infamous prominent octogenarian politicians leave their career. Yes, I am talking about CM Achuthanandan & former CM K. Karunakaran.

Shame Shame Mamta 3 Cheers Ratan Tata
by S Seshan on Sep 03, 2008 07:51 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Mamta Banerjee should be ashamed of what she did. She has permanantly shut down the door to the Industrialisation Process in West Bengal. This was an oppurtuity for West Bengal . Look at the status of Jute Industry in West Bengal. This is an oppurtunity lost and lost forever .Today all investor across the globe would think 100 times before investing in Bengal.

Why madam mamta is doing only she can know .Probably the move is get some populist vote .Today Trinamool has no representation in the Lok Sabha.

At one point of time we all thought we have a leader who will do great for bengal and the country .But she has let everyone down in a big way .

3 cheers to Ratan Tata who did not bother about his 1500 crore investment and thought more about the safety of his employee. Here is a person who was not intimidated by the politician's arm twisting with a hope that they can have their way .

This is not the first time that a project got halted due to politiacn interferance. Dhabol Project -way the project went into the drain as the aspirations of the politician were not fullfilled .Today politician in Maharashtra are reponsible for the power crisis.
Top it the CM wants the Nano plant to be shifted to Maharashtra where id the power for the plant going to come .Do you want another Dhabol to happen to Tatas Nano .

It is time we all support Mr.Ratan Tata in his endevour to bring a janta car

3 cheers Ratan Tata

I need Ms Mamata Banerjee's email
by Abhi Bhat on Sep 03, 2008 07:50 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

I need Ms Mamata Banerjee's email. As I need it to find where to transfer at least Rs.40000 to her for her courage to fight for farmers right.
My best wishes for Mamta and dear farmers. The industrialization especially of cars and western stuff are of so small stature and valueless compared to what a farmer produces and does for ecology.
Jai Jawan Jai Kisan aur baki sab shaitan.
Every person should work fields 10 years of his life to justify the food he is eating.
No amount of money he earns makes him elligible for eating grain unless at some point in life he grows some too. Think about it finance is a big fraud to loot money from poor while sitting on own aas.

Yes Abhi Bhat, everyone should work in a textile company for ten years for the clothe he wears, should work in an oil field for ten years for the oil he consumes, should work in a construction related industry for ten years for the house he lives in, should work in a footwear industry for five years for the footwear he uses, should work in defence or police department for fifteen years for the security he is enjoying, for ten years in an entertainment industry for the TV he is watching, and fifteen years in a health industry for the medical care he is getting, for ten years in muncipality for all the facililties he is getting, and oh! yes in electric generation station for fifteen years for the power he is getting and about fifty years for all other facilities he is getting.

Yours is a very nice and absolutely practical suggestion, kudos to you

Why want industrialisation?
by Fried Yakov on Sep 03, 2008 07:50 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

What is the need for all this industrialisation in Bengal? If the Bengalisthemselves do not want it, let Bengal remain an agricultural state. It may also be desirable to close down the few remaining industries in Bengal too so that the industrial land may be reclaimed for agriculture. Yes and all the educated youths, even those with PhD's should brace for a career in tilling the soil- there is no shame in 'dignity of labour'- it is a well accepted doctrine. And then have we realised how the name "Bongo" rhymes with "Congo"- may be soon there will be no difference between the two. And educated Bengali youth who are so "egoistic" as not to like cultivating the earth, may migrate to more salubrious climes to pursue there intellectual passions (I believe millions have already done so and those who still hold on to Bengal because of family reasons shall soon be forced to do so for reasons economic). Let this serve as a warning for other potential "miscreants" (aka investors) thinking of turning their capitalistic eyes on the red fortress of Bengal- do not try ever to break into this impregnable red fortress of medivialism and regression, or your doom is assured.

bakar bakar bakar
Tata have understood that their ambition to crush farmers will backfire in long run.
Naranyan Murthy and others shud take a hint from this against usurping farmers land in the name of sez. You can live with less profit but you cant live with curses from poor. Every rich man is because he made some others poor or messed with ecology. The unfortunate part is that in our country being rich and poor decides whether or not you die hungry. We need to take the basic needs like grain out of money's evil reach. It should be strictly rationed. And unrationed and rationed grains both shud be sold under govt license. And every indian shud be forced to work field for 10 years in life.
Without following what i mentioned your life will spiral into worthlessness and you will realize this on your deathbed and then you will not recall where you went wrong.
