It will teach a lesson to all other states and politicians. Not a single penny is going to go to Bengal henceforth as investment and most of those who are already there will be pulling out.
On seeing this no other state politician/farmers/people will protest and land acquisition etc. Bengal has done a great service to India. Now the people and politicians will not take businessmen for granted.

Arundhati Roy is a Mallu. It doesn't matter much as both Bongs & Mallus are known to be anti-indian.
bengalis should understand what benifit this project would have given to them......now as it is tata is having telco already at pune and maharashtra government ready to give land at international car hub at ranjangaon where each car mnc already exist moreover chip politics of dalal no.1 can't creep in here,because whatever may happen............ when it comes to devolopment all maharashtrians get united thats why maharashtra is no.1 in industrialisation in india......sorry,bongs you won't have previledge of working in your own state ,you will have to come to maharshtra and work as you are doing since last so many generations.

However, in the city with the biggest density of prostitutes in the world (Mumbai, as per the National Aids Control Organisation), the largest section of the prostitutes are from the north Indian poor states such as Bihar & U.P (followed by Maharashtra and Madhya Pradesh). Bengal is not mentioned.
In Calcutta too, though Bengal has the largest group among the sex workers, Bihar and U.P follow closely behind. If this is the case in these two metros, Biharis and those from U.P and other states like M.P, Jharkhand, etc. almost completely monopolise the sex profession in Delhi.
Does'nt this prove that Bihar and U.P, rather than Bengal or Maharashtra (being host states to two metros) provide a larger share of the prostitutes and that this is one of the several grim reminders of the grinding poverty levels in those states ?
This is lesson to major IT/BT CEO's(Infy.,Wipro,Kirn Mujmdar) of Bangalore who want to move out of Bangalore and get established in other states. You people just want to move out of B'lore because of Bad infrastructure but you would have moved out of Buisness if you were in other states.
Shame on Mamta n her cheap politics of taking people.. n now even industries on ransom… shame on her .. Same old tactics of going on dharna/ strike/hartals... nobody benefits from such acts... Now Mamata dont have any other option then to commit suicide and let the people of West Bengal stay in peace... ruling CPM and its affiliated trade union destroid the states developement till now; and mamata Benerjee now trying to destroy all other what little the state is having;;;;
