What a set back ! Mamata Gandhi ?
by Sudhansu Ghosh on Sep 04, 2008 01:25 PM  Permalink

You will be remembered as mother of all negativism in India dear MAMATA GANDHI. You have done an equivalent disservice to Bengal as was done by the father of the nation for the whole country.

Insane politicians!!
by Its Tamal on Sep 04, 2008 11:50 AM  Permalink

Somettime CPM and its gr88 follower CITU bloked many projects & factories for their own created imagination....now Trinamul doing same...watever TATAay be here or not but we common people are curious to see if its got established by anyway how CITU will take the cards afterwards...However..we common people are confused enough and surprisingly noticed that all politicians crying..making fame(Defame!!)...revolutionasing for those industries will be or not or any other so called ground reality....but..but....the enormous population...dying condition of jobs to youth...confusing education system...etc..etc are old but sustaining probs and no politicians are there to think bout that..!!...i don't know m right or wrong but its my assumption....in case of population xplotion they are silent as population and vote bank equation is utmost worthy for all politicians.......doing anything for jobless youth will not be money making issues.....proper and clean education may make gud..resonable mind to think more nicely and thats dangerous for those poluted-politicians..!!....and so on.....we cane debate...make comment each other..and manythings...but the show will go on same....and we common people will be same with tear..!!...

Welcome Step

No state of India requires a beggar industrialist.... Use your own money. Take loans if you don't have enough but why beg from a economically sagging state?

As far as I know, he's one of the richest men in this planet. He's a noble and great bizman - that's what we regular people know. Then why does he want the land, electricity, other infrastructural expenses, raising the level of the land etc etc to be borne by the poor state government(s)? Well, as a bizman, he's every right to choose from the grants/aids available to him. Isn't it degrading and laughable for a man like T-A-T-A?

Its called negotiating. Tata will give jobs in return...

Can you beg and get 1000 acres in West Bengal?

Re: Re: Welcome Step
by Jo Ho on Sep 04, 2008 02:01 PM  Permalink
Well - for begging, you and me will not get perhaps. Begging also has different set of standards. He has more, he wants much more - from anybody whoever doesn't matter.

And employment? The factory is gonna be fully automated. So possibility of direct employment is understood. And ancillaries will have to recruit by political influence - don't know how many locals will be employed. Most of the items would be brought from outside the state as such.

And has Mr Tata really invested Rs 1500 crores already in Singur?

come on man, everybody knows that if Nano pullout is permanent, West Bengal will lose out on a lot of industrilization led growth. Even the farmers realize that. I hope some compromise is reached, and I also hope Mamata learns a lesson from this, not to take things to the breaking point just to score some political victories. People are very smart and know such behaviour.

People should not forgive them and give lessons to her in comming elections.
