true colors
by alrup on Sep 03, 2008 11:29 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This Message board is a place of Bengali and Bengal haters. In this time of a crisis, its good to see the true colors of the chameleons from different states of India. We will remember that.
Its very unfortunate that a Bengali is criticizing
himself instead of offering solution for the problem(whether write a single constructive line or taking steps themselves).

Perhaps no other race criticize themselves in a such nasty way.

If you think it is bad . Please raise a voice of change . No other state is facing so many bandh Although all knew that bandh is public holiday with pay .and also without knowing the reason . It is holiday for govt people but bad day for other bread earning people. You can show your difference in so many way But in WB it is natural . When u called Bharat Bandh only WB is 100% successful .
Right now the govt tries industrialization , Now the opposition plays politics . As in WB every where the politics plays . If left is said YES then opposition Had to SAY NO . Nobody thinks the good for the state . -- So it was expected that this thing happens ...

why blame mamta alone
by bobby on Sep 03, 2008 11:28 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

One fails to understand why people are blaming mamta banerjee & her party for exit of tatas from singur. When she was on indefinate strike Buddhadeb gave her assurance of talking & than she broke the jinx of her fast, when initailly being asked by buddhadeb babu why before making any commitment to tata he did not consulted oppostion or gained their confidence his reply was'WE ARE 235 THEY ARE 30'.This man's (buddhadeb) over confidence, self ego had brought bengal in black listed state for industrial development not mamta alone.

MR Secular. USSR has failed already and have u ever been to China? I stayed there for more than a year. And let me assuere you , whatever Mamata is doing here, she would have been dead meat by now if it was in China. Have you forgotten Tien Amen square incident? I had the opportunity to visit some rural areas of china during my stay. And let me tell you, do not go by the glitters od Beijing and Shanghai, Situation of poor people in China are no better than in India. I was astonished to learn that there is no rule of paying any compensation by the employer or by govt. if a factory worker is injured or dead due to hazardous conditions in work. I have seen their factories. you wont believe how workers are treated there. Reminded me of the tradition of slavery in America in early 19th century. Thats what your sickle and hammer is all about?

I am impressed with your untiring effort inviting Tata to Kerla.

Kaka might ditch AC Milan and play soccer for Kerala Police but Ratan Tata won't put a factory in Kerala

Low Salary levels in East due to poor industrialization
by krishna rao on Sep 03, 2008 11:26 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Today the people in east especially in west Bengal are poorly paid as compared to their counterparts in rest on the country, the reason is poor industrialization. Yet I find it very difficult to understand why our people are not able to realize this and throw politicians who are against industrialization. The salary of a sales executive in Kolkata is around Rs 3.5 to 4.0 lakhs, the same person is able to get over Rs 7.5 lakhs in Hyderabad or Chennai and over Rs 9 lakhs in Mumbai or Delhi. Do the east people realize this, all this is because of people like Mamata Banerjee. Please realize that there will never be win-win solutions for industrializations and land acquisitions, but what we need to embrace is the lesser evil. Guys of late the CPM has learnt some good lessons and changed their approach, Jyothi Basu messed up with west Bengal for over 2 decades now you have a chief minster who believes in growth and prosperity, let’s come together and help these progressive minded people to remain in power/control and for us to prosper. Please realize that people like Mamata Banerjee who has lost all friends at National level is now looking for some identity at local level. And to support her is the Amar Singh whose only aim is anti Mukesh Ambani and since Mukesh is supporting Tata, he has to join this woman to see they are at loss. Let’s defeat all these mean minded politicians.
