Good Decision By Tata
by Ravindra Sarvaiya on Sep 03, 2008 01:07 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

This should be enough to teach a lesson to the whole of the West Bengal.

All those protesting people are just the puppets in the hands of Mamta Banerjee.

They are fighting 400 acres of land. The fact is that Tata's had offered to pay them an amount which was more than the actual cost. But Mamta fooled these farmers by convincing them that they can get more money because their land is fertile, close to the road, etc..

Good job Mamta... just for a handful of farmers, u've ruined the future of millions of Bengalis.

Good job you farmers... you've regained your land... go and enjoy... (hopeless, foolish people).

Read this Hindi:
"DO BANDARO KI LADAAI MEIN BILLI BAAZI MAAR GAYI"

This is what Mamta did. She created this fight between farmers and Tatas and took the advantage of it.

Shame on Mamta.

Oh my God! Look at Mamta's statment:

"We have not stopped work at the Tata project. The decision to suspend work at the plant was Tatas' own. We have not obstructed anyone. We cannot do anything if workers do not turn up for work," she told reporters in Kolkata, adding that her party wanted normal work to continue at the Nano plant.

Does she think that others are fool (like her followers)?

Ma y Lord Ganesh Bless you
by pradeep kumar on Sep 03, 2008 01:06 PM  Permalink

Its painful but good decision by TATA's on the eve of Ganesh Chaturthi. They should avoid a state ruled by Communist. They are unpredictable and led by a bunch of old chaps who don't know what they are uttering and what they are doing. Next the state run by the hatred people who hate the fellow Indian yes it is Jai Maharastra. The Raj & Bal factor will give you more pain then Mamta's Paayar. They have great reservation about the agricultural land and all the appointment must be of Manush (Ban) .If TATA thinking of Utrakhand it will be good choice. May Ganesh bless your project in Utrakhand. This is the abode of God."SIGHRAM SUBHAM".

MAMATA is the most selfish person(Sorry I can't say her politician) I have seen.. even the Gunda politician in UP bihar are much better , atleast they will grab few cores or will kill few .. but here She is killing thousands of young people who could have got a job and in the process supporta another few thousand people in his /her familiy.... Ask any of the farmer whether they would prefer their children working in Tata or just keep on searching for a job here and ther...... She is killing all those futures just to realize here unfulfiled dream on becoming Bengal CM................

What's about CPIM goon? Why Tata will give job to farmers, son? At best they can only clean the floor or machine. You are jobless, register yourself in CPIM party office. It's the only place in India where even newborn is to be registered in red party to secure the future job.

I agree with you ... CPIM rule of last 30 years is the biggest Problem of Bengal...Bengal youth thinks nothing can happen without being a member of Political Party.....But If someone trying to rectify the past mistakes ...chaneg themself ,,then there is no point of stoping that..that will no way help the people of Bengal.........

Rebel without a Cause
by Siddarth on Sep 03, 2008 01:04 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

For someone staying in a very populated place like bangalore where traffic problem and congestion are bad, Nano will only add more woes then wows ...... Imagine the traffic in bangalore where people who cannot afford a car b4 were using bikes and scooters now with new cars by their reach , they will change to cars and the road will always be the same .... Traffic will increase , I am not the type of guy who will drive a Nano btw, but its for industrialization . How politics hinders the movement . I support the nano cause , because As usual dirty politics are making things hard for progress , Mamata is leading it from the front now ... but when Tata which they eventually will left West Bengal for good ,she Will go back to her home in kolkata and i doubt she will return to Singur where her naive villagers are left to despair as the land will not be returned according to acquisition law, those people who were promised jobs will be jobless . So the farmer will be farmers without land and Didi will forget about the issue and will lay low for a while and will plan her next strategy against the CPI(M) on how to be a spoiled brat ,She only is doing protest and dharna all her life in politics . Her Bluff has been called ... She only has one choice but to give in... and stop these nonsense . but i doubt she will as she consider losing her face to be more important den those that will really matters in this issue . The Farmers will be the only person who will be really affected and of

WHERE IS THE LEFT NOW???
by Sanjay Sharma on Sep 03, 2008 01:01 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Silence of the LEft parties is conspicious. Whenever there are matters of NAtional interest / public welfare, they have ALWAYS taken the opposing route. No surpirse then that all LEftist rules states are going backwards in terms of development & uplifment of society as a whole.
THESE guys should be taught a lesson in the upcoming general elections.

Development requires a mature, reasonable and stable mindset. Happenings in WB do not reflect any sign of these. Bengal is still living in 60-70s era when they were good but not anymore.

how do u blame mamta for this.it is both government of west bengal (left front) & tata(ratan tata) equally responsible for this. She had protested from day one the project had taken up.Are u from west bengal if not than please read the following & decide why her protest is being looked as great help to bengal poor people:
A)The housing project developed by west bengal govt on land taken by them in outskirts of kolkata RAJARHAT ,is that the entire project is on verge of complition but still land sellers had not received the amount of their payment.Does housing project creates vacancy?
B)The day this problem of singur raised every one asked the chief minister why did not he spoke or took oppostion into confidence before doing finalisation,do u know what this man answered: we are 235 they are just 30 .NOW THIS 30 IS CREATING PROBLEM BECAUSE IT HAS SHWON REAL FACE OF LEFT GOVERNMENT.
C)The alternative land given to tata is just 10 min walk from where his project is but as being cunniest bussiness man he tends to play safe game. His unit is in 600 acres of land but rest he(tata) sold to his supporting agents .Is this fair?
D)INfront of TATA CENTRE on chowranghee road in kolkata their is one park which had been developed for west bengal government by tata & in return what they had done you know:The parking for their cars is on pavement & their drivers drive without caring for any walkers life & police sitting near by are just silent watchers. Is this what we expect from tata?
I
