3rd FM
by G A on May 06, 2008 02:19 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

We hv the most 3rd rate FM in this country, whose vision ends on the tip of his nose. This man has wasted all the years in thinking of how to tax the aam aadmi for everything ie income, saving, spending, retiring and has imposed taxes for washing your own clothes, eating food, spending on a holiday, withdrawing your iown cash etc etc. As long as such petty minded people are there, is is wonder that we are not the last on this list. He also loves to blow off all the lakhs of crores of tax money on useless schemes which finally enter the pockets of the corrupt congress chamchas.

The Congress acknowledges that only 20 Paise of every rupee spent on community schemes reaches the intended target audience. That means 4 times the monies go to the middlemen, beginning with the party in power, the mantrijis, their chamchas ... what a collosal waste

world best system - the common man slogs - pays taxes as a holy duty [ no alternative ] and the ministers / mla's / mp's enjoy..... free flights with family, free medical, free staying, etc, etc - the never ending list.....

some time back it had come in a news paper - a union leader was going around in a pajero - upon inquiring with him as to how he got this - he peacefully replied that this was presented to him by the union members as a token of appreciation !!!!

beat that !!!!!

I think we can not be cynical about the politicians enjoying the privileges in the country we live in. Any country the politicians have the best of the place to live, the best vehicles to drive around and the best amenities. US spends a good lot to maintain an aircraft for the president. Can you beat that.

Politicians are the leaders. Nobody in the world look at me and you for what India is. But it is our leaders who represent us.

If you find this awkward, and not good. Join politics. Make a difference by contributing to the country. It is painful that most of us sit at home and blame others. Why not put an effort to solve the problems. If you join politics, who knows we might have a better leader and a representative for the country.

Taxes and taxes.......
by sudhanshu shilpi on May 06, 2008 02:13 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Isn't it very frustrating that we pay taxes on so many products we consume and services we use. Also on some products like petrol and others , the taxes are quite high. Despite paying all these taxes, we have to pay income tax which is also not helpful for salaried class. 1.5 Lacs is the limit set, which in these high inflation times, is not sufficient but who would listen to our woes.

There are always many sides of the coin. But we have a tendency to look at the uglier side only.

Since you have raised a question on the taxes on Petrol, let me remind you that the price of petrol was increased to 45 - 50 when crude oil was at around 60 dollars per barrel in the world markets. And now the crude oil is cruising at 120 dollars per barrel. Have you ever seen that side of the coin, which the same goverment, same system, same policies had brought in for you.

But then may be some times blaming other relieves us from some tensions.
Cheer up guys. We do live in a happy world. And for the things that are not good, we only will need to improve them.

Nikhil, mind you when the prices of petrol fell in international market for quite long time the government did not bother to lower the price of petrol. Only after a lot of fuss, it was lowered. Now again mind you elections are coming and they cannot afford to raise the price, as such the inflation is quite high and any increase petrol would be catastrophic to both market and their chances of coming back, so your theory that despite the rise in international price in petrol it is not increased is not worth the point.

My request to Govt not to declare mid term polls or bye elections, do not allow horse trading, do not allow to form many political parties, pls deal strictly with the MLa's who tries to destabilise the country by joinings hands today to one political party and tomorrow to some other party, or who withdraws the support from the ruling party and joins to opposition party, i mean dissolution of assembly due to frequent withrawal support either from the party.Because one election in a state can costs so much, it is waste of money.

Hi Addukhandibaap,

I think u dindt read the tax plicy it will took one year to get the tax returns and if they(Income tax deptt) cross this one year limit then they will pay 5.1 % approx. interest on your amount. You will get your return in end of july or in aug.Till then shut up .. and most of the middle class is salaried.Even I am too..
