Land Line to maraa padaa he saalo se....ek jagah fix padaa rehtaa thaa murde ki tarah...aak laal ke Tata ,airtel aur Reliance ke landline me bhi Display aane lagaa ge.
when reliance and tata indicom mobiles with display screen and sms facility are available at 800rs,why would anyone buy this mobile? Value-added services cannot attract the rural people.to make it a success,it's price has to come down to 500rs or even low

There are already mobiles available from reliance which cost around 800 bucks (777, if i remember correctly). These are full fledged phones with screen, phonebook, alarm, etc. Also, motorola and nokia has gsm sets starting from 1200 bucks. If one wants an even cheaper deal, one can go for a second hand set which are now sold dime a dozen. Can't see why anybody would want to purchase this "blind" mobile without a display.

Yes i agree with u that "No display" is a disadvantage.. however, taxi & rickshawalla who are carrying phones dont use SMS and other functionalities. This is already shown by a recent survey. And since its a GSM, it can actually can retain his present number. Which i think is the most important for this market.

though they do not use, they will not buy this phone, it is a matter of great prestige, spice will understand this the hard way. Like Ratan Tata says, no one wants to own a "lesser car" or a "lesser phone"

This is B K Modi group, so you can expect this company too to die its natural death like his other companies.
While it is certainly an acheivement to have "invented" a cellphone costing Rs.800/-, it remains to be seen how will be its life and battery features. Without the screen, the user will be unable to know who the caller is, many a times a pre-requisite.
