Hi I suggest when you are listing the Top 10's and the Like ( a table in the beginning would be of much help which then can be hyperlinked to move to a particular page instead of clicking next everytime. Rgs Balaji Abudhabi

I TOTALLY AGREE WITH YOU. I ALSO HAVE INVESTMENT IN ICICI PRUDENTIAL. I CAN SWITCH/DISTRIBUTE MY INVESTMENT BETWEEN VARIOUS RISK CATEGORIES. AS PER THE RULE IF ANY DAY I AM SWITCHING THE RISK CATEGORY BEFORE 3 PM, THE SWICTH WILL HAPPEN THAT DAY OTHERWISE ANOTHER DAY. ONCE I SWITCHED MY MONEY FROM MORE RISKY TO PROTECTED CATEGORY AT AROUND 11 am, ALTHOUGH I GOT THE CONFIRMATION AUTOMATIC MAIL, THEY DIDN'T SWITCHED MY MONEY BECAUSE MARKET WAS GOING DOWN. THEY ACTUALLY SWITCHED MY MONEY AFTER 6 DAYS, WHEN I NOTICED, I CALLED THEM AND WROTE THEM MAIL. I SCREWED THEM AND TOLD THEM I AM LOOSING 7,000 Rs BECAUSE OF THIS, I THREATEND THEM IF THEY WILL NOT CORRECT THEIS I WILL REPORT TO POLICE AND ALSO TO RBI, THEN ONLY ICICI ACTUALLY RETURNED ME MY 7,000 Rs.

Guys,
HDFC and HDFC Bank are two different entities. HDFC Bank is an offshoot of the much older parent organization that's HDFC. They have different executive managements.
I am a customer of both. I fell very happy about HDFC while extremely unhappy about HDFC Bank!
The staff of HDFC and HDFC Bank are a world apart. The former has the best and most knowledgeable staff, whereas the latter just sucks in that department!

Private Banks are all same. I have lost Rs.10,000 in Standard Charterred Bank. I have opened an account with that. After one year I have discovered there is nothing there. he reason is in every three months it has deducted Rs.2500 for failing to have the minimum amount in the account, although they had never informed me about this rule.

icici bank staff is just meant for showoff, n not meant for work. they act as if they are kind of billgates. none answers properly or helps.
these two banks have to be shut down. or else they do good customer relations business, or else it will be history in a while.
Several of these banks (minus banks like Credit Agricole) are under severe losses due to the credit crisis the truth about which has still not completely unfolded. On paper - these banks may be the largest but in reality - several of these don't really qualify if you actually take a look at their assets. UBS, Deutsche and Barclays are facing their worst ever nightmares post the sub-prime fiasco. All this is therefore not "absolute" but "obsolete" truth.
