You might be in dreams, just go to AP and see how the congress party looting public money under irrigation projects mantra, more than 40,000 Cr has been swallowed by AP congress leaders.

Why just AP?

Corruption is the creation and legacy of 40 odd years of Kongress party rule in India (Central and State).

You can blame everything that went wrong in this country on this party of slime balls!

They had a great opportunity of making this country a veritable paradise but chose to make it the next worst thing to hell!!

The media should cover Corruption.. Jai Hind
by Greywolf on Mar 25, 2008 11:34 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

the media journalists are duffers.. they report anything without understanding.. their main purpose is create a "SANSANI" so that their paper sells or people watch their channel.. it means that the sacrifice their values for greed of money.. another aspect of corruption.. if they are allowed to cover this issue of cirruption the reporting will be become indianised.. like spagetti in a soup dish.. viva corruption.. viva moolah.. jai hind

by Don johnson on Mar 25, 2008 11:45 PM  Permalink

Wrong!!

Journalists are not duffers!

They only do stories on corruption when the owner of their channel or publication wants them to!

This situation arises when the owner gets a demand for money or favour which is out of the owner's "budget".

When "negotiations" fail, the owner gives the babu or minister an ultimatum - concede or get exposed on the channel or publication.

The babu or minister then takes a calculated risk by refusing to budge!

When you see the story disappear from the channel/publication, it means that babu/minister has come to his senses and decided to budge on the 'quantum' of the demand!

You don't have to agree with me, just look at the history of exposes in Indian journalism and their "shelf" life!!

Wrong!!

It is not a hobby in the west but a carefully planned and considered career move!

Nobody takes small bribes (like Indians do) in the West!

If they do take bribes then these are big enough to cover their retirement funds just in case they are caught and go to jail!!

Like I said it is career choice - it can end ones career in the West!!

Meager salaries is no excuse!

They work for barely 3-4 hours a day, take days to complete work that can be completed in 3-4 hours!

And BTW, nobody forced them to become Government servants. They became government servants because it let's them accept bribes like it was their birth right!!

They only work hard at being corrupt!

Try getting something done without paying a bribe and they will treat you like you are about to mount their sisters!

The tragedy of it all is that nothing is going to change this situation.

Corruption in India is indestructible!!

I haven't been out of India. The world outside India is foreign and irrelevant to me.

I see corruption in every government office I visit in India. The place where I haven't experienced corruption is the post office. That may be because they haven't started selling stamps in the black market yet!

To me India is the most corrupt country in the world!

Corruption in India is a parallel system of governance and an economy by itself!

So I dispute the findings of this study!

It is apparent that somebody was paid a bribe by India to give it this ranking!

So much for how "less" corrupt India is!

Jai Hind!!
