you are writing this while on work, at the cost of ur employer. Just check whether all of it applies to you.
Why dont you see a major or colonel in this chatroom - because most of them are busy on the borders - remeber they are also part of govt. employees.

PERFORMANCE Only.

I am not a govt servert but my father is. I should have benn happy for this reason. But I am not - because of the below reason. Hope you understand.

Public sector employee face a lot of stress ot get their salary..but just count on the Govt servants..they get maximum benefit in all possible forms and still harrass publi.. Just ask yourself..do the public sector emps do the same things..

My only favour is -

Give more hike than 40% to the epmployees whi deserve with their PERFORMANCE. Not to everone. This will encourage healthy competition among Govt. employees.

Best Regards to Govt Officials and FM

Regards.

Increase work load
by sampath kumar on Mar 24, 2008 02:09 PM  Permalink

We are not objecting pay hike to off set inflation. But there must be corresponding increase in work, efficienty, quality. Many govt employees are only `paper pushers'. Introduce 6 day week in return for the `bonanza'. This will have impact in State Govt as some govt is following Central Pay scales.

If the Govt. employees are burden to the nation... then why everone is in mad rush to get educated from the Govt. institutions.. be it IIT/AIIMS or IIM.

You could ask Viz narayan that? He seems to be an authority in this subject. He landed up in a cushy job after graduating from a Govt. Institution. Just your average typical private jobber, who made it big on govt. money. Had he studied in any private college, he would not even afford the fees, let along study.

Now that is a thought! This is what was expected about this debate. Not needless demeaning govt.employees. Generalising also does not help the upright and honest people who nevertheless exist in their ranks.

employers are neither masters nor the employes slaves. its all give and take in equal measure. when that imbalance is seen then ppl quit.

one adv of private cos is that you need not lick your boss's shoes if you are not the type. you can always look for alternative jobs

which company do you work for? A rare company I am sure? Are you your own boss? I mean do you run your company. That is the only way out of it (lickin shoes). or you must be in the bottom rung with noway further down to care.

u must be the one who never had any other kind of boss in which case i can only pity you or you must have relished the licking and must have taken it to artistic heights....
