I am a little skeptical about the charging times, battery life, and the distance it will run mentioned. They claim it will run 80 km a day, when charged overnight ... i guess the average car will do 50 .. which is dangerously close to getting your car shut in the middle of the road. But maybe they are correct. I think the advertising here is tacky. The place really doesn't seem to have a factory .. and maybe this is kind of a ploy to position it as the lowest price car ... The article does not really give me the sense that this is a good reliable car ... sorry for my biased comments.

The mileage is a concern. Hope they can do something to improve it! Even the reva gives about the same. A lot of work still needs to be done in the EV domain.

enoch, for ur info there are only 3 models, the basic model cost around 3lacs. iam talking of new cars not used ones

Look at the bright side - Reva may actually cut down on prices! Till now this has just been a niche market... more competition entering is definitely an indication that the market for electric cars is opening up. There will definitely be more takers for in the near future. We might get better for less!
How can you'll make such irresponsible comments - are you'll so dumb in the head. This was an article on an environmentally friendly car that too at 99k! You'll talk about power cuts - what in heaven's name do you'll plan to do when there won't be any oil around feul in the years to come. Hope you guys are aware that our existing resources won't even last your life time! You'll are disgustingly lame!

Well if you did you would never make just an irresponsible comment! Trust me environmental issues truly seem beyond your comprehension! Don%u2019t even talk about them! Your comments are purely malicious and nothing more! No bogus company can launch a car in the market and get away with it. The auto market is a tough space %u2013 something again that you may not be able to comprehend!

If the company is really a fraud and you have proof - why don't you post pictures and report them to the authorities. That shouldn%u2019t be hard right!! Or do you lack the courage because this is just a slander and nothing more.
