Well i know that he is doing a lot of charity things for poor people, i appreciate that but you know what,I am very much against the close source things. I can't trust Microsoft code running on my PC! So i don't care how much charity he has done, but the thing is that he is still fooling you guys! May be he got richer because he stole your money while transferring funds over internet or may be by selling your information to some other group. Who knows what is going on in the system? So be prepared to a day when Microsoft will be asking for ransom for returning your own data, or may be threatening to reduce your bank balance to ZERO.
Sir, I am very happy to remember some thing about him. He is a great man who has attained everything on earth. We presume, according, to many religious believe that there is some thing like heaven, where we are to be judged for the deeds, we have done on the earth. In case of Bill gates, he has received that honour of kindness and mercy, on the earth itself. I give my heartful salute, on behalf of India.
BILL GATES HAS OPENED HIS MONEY GATES FOR CHARITY AND HAS SHOW EARNING IS NOT THE ONLY AIM IN THE LIFE, SHARING WEALTH WITH HAVE NOTS IS ALSO MORE IMPORTANT. WHETHER OUR BILL GATES, MR. AMBANI BROTHERS WILL FOLLOW SUIT FOR POOR OF INDIA?

well, if not open up for charity. they shouldnt do one that bill gates did, monopolize and crush small companies illegally. if the ambanis dont play foul - they'd have done a great service - unlike bill gates.
countless individuals were given sleepless nights and still microsoft continues to do the same. bill gates is best remembered as a warning for how not to be, or maybe a good posterboy for monopolists.
Bill Gates has rightly chosen philanthropic work as his mission ln life. Although, he had been the richest person in the world, the greatnesss does not come with earning money and holding, but by giving. The monetary wealth makes you unworthy of realizing life's poetntial fully if your money is not used in charity, for a good cause.
A few years ago, Bill Gates had said "Life Is unfair; get used to it." Money spent by Gates on charity won't buy reall happiness for others, but it would do good to his own personality. As per Indian traditions, all money spent on 'daan' purifies our mind and brings us nearer to God. May this chairity work help Bill Gates in finding the real meaning and purpose of his existence.

i only wish bill gates had been charitable with windows and have the live and let live mantra with operating systems and office file formats. he was a convicted monoplist there. even now windows and office apps rule the roost illegally - by a monopoly. instead of collecting his welath illegally to be charitable - he could very well have been charitable to start with and then go into charity!
Bill Gates, a visionary and great executor of Microsoft is stepping down from Microsoft, but taking much bigger and responsible role of full time Philantropist, which should be happy news. His hard earned money and fame should have brought him great laurels but his next job is going to make him much bigger in the world.
Mr. Bill Gates' father was(and may be still is) a very influential lawyer during the time Microsoft was being started. This must have helped Bill immensely. I doubt that Bill would have succeeded as much as he did if he did not have the environment of the American education system and his family influence. Still, Bill must be admired for remaining focussed on his business goals and making Microsoft a legend around the world. His penchant for perfection is highly admirable.
