just before 4 year back in 2004, petrol rates are approx to Rs. 32.00 and now....................... Hey bhagwan, Congree to Sadbudhi do, common person is already crying with hight rate of inflation and now petrol.

i completely agree with u....i have seen it at that times and now it's fired almost to double...
There is no point in remembering the past.We must now think about the alternative source of energy like CNG, Hybrid fuel , ethanol, battery operated automobile etc etc but nobody seems to be serious including Government.

Great..u r very lucky...hahah! Even the cost rise didnt effect u after 20yrs... Any plans u have to keep for next 20yrs on your consumption of petrol at Rs.10/ltr? I recommend you to be in Venezuela where it will touch 10 by 2029.good luck..

I still remember paying Rs.8.50 per litre in 1988-89 and that too we used to feel this on the costlier side.
This govt. is paving way for others in forthcoming election and is completely failed to stop inflation which is crossing over 9% record highest in my lifetime.

Got to know from my dad that it was to be around 0.50 paise around 1970
