i prefer to use bi-cycle

I prefer to use bi-cycle. so i am not worried about fule price hike.
i also advice others if not necessary then plz dont use motercycle. instead use bicycle, which is healthy and envornment friendly.

bicycle cost 18000 ..not so cheap.....

hey mate i'm finding difficult to run my h/h glamour bike so i'm planning to buy a car which run on CNG. i think thats gr8 way to fight rising fuel cost.

Maximum I can think of rupee 100..if it goes more than that I'll move to gulf country to work as coolleee..better than working as software coolleee :)

lol. although as per rediff's article in some places like turkey and norway petrol is already dearer upto Rs. 112/lts. So i think days are coming when we too shall pay upto Rs.100/- and of it upto Rs. 75/- will be taxes.

I also want to move to bicycle but in that case I see that all 2-wheeler guys say hush hush to bicycle guys on road and make them to fall on road....

Please use E-Bike. Most of the chinese do the same. No Effort, Envirmental friendly, and costs Rs4/ 50 KM.

I REMEMBER PETROL BEING BOUGHT AT RS.2.65 PER LITER DURING 1977-78, WHEN MY FATHER HAD BAJAJ VESPA.ITS LIKE A FAIRY TALE NOW AND CAN BE TOLD TO THE NEW GENRATION LIKE PANCHTANTRA KI KAHANIYA.YOU MUST TELL US THE CURRENT PREVAILING PRICE IN NABOURING COUNTRIES.

most of indian never purchase petrol i also never purchase the petrol i use cycle in my college time to retirement fr private service
lowest rate i heard or remember in 1977 @rs 2.30 p/ltr at that time also it is coslier than other items rates

FREE Public Transportation

Government must provide FREE Public Transportation across India to all its Citizens.

This will save precious India's foreign exchange on Oil imports

Oil consumption      = 2.438 million bbl/day (2005 est.)
Oil imports            = 2.098 million bbl/day (2004 est.)

there is no point in providing free public transport.. if i want to use it i am ready to pay for it.. private transport is used only because its more convenient, not because it is cheaper

I remember buying petrol at Rs.9.50/- per litre in 1991 when i started to drive. I used to fill petrol for Rs.50/- and it used to last atleast for 15 days.
