In 1991, I remember paying approx. 96 Rs. for filling my Bajaj Super Scooter's 6 Ltr Tank. Making it abt Rs. 16.00 / Ltr. OMG, What were those dayz :-) & now where v have come 2 :-(.
In early seventies, I remember price of petrol as Rs 0.69 or Rs 0.71 a litre.One could fill up five litres of petrol including oil in five rupees and still get back some change.
i bought a bike in year 1989.my first filling of rs.100-at a petrol pump in chandigarh and i remember it was more than 10ltrs.in those times and now..........
in 1971 when iwas college student if took scooter for college then i get petrol for 90 paise per liter and 10p for oil. i carry two friends with me and they also contribute because journey used to cost 20paise one way and I use to get one rupee pocket money including bus fare per day
