More Airlines, less passangers!!
by Ramesh Kapoor on Sep 23, 2008 08:55 PM  Permalink

With the financial turmoil, rising gas prices, and oil, and restriction of luggage weight, and now even paying a fee for each checked in bag, the number of people vacationing will decrease, and unless they are Indian Ministers who hop on every aircraft and move around at public expense, probably Vijay Mallya's Kingfisher will survive. Wishing him, Air India, and Jet Airways, Good Luck, as they have competition from airlines from all over the world.

These buses are already plying as city buses in Qatar, Dubai and Abudhabi for last so many years. India should replace their city bus / town bus with this to celebrate Nuke Deal Sign-off. Main Sponsor : Congress, Associate Sponsor : Lalu & Sibu Soren. When these guys have crores and crores of money at home, why dont they give it for buying these buses and it will be a good sign for other politicians who can sponsor us lifetime free bus pass.

The Revolving Buildings and India
by LALIT ANAND on Jul 06, 2008 08:15 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Isnt it a pity that the rest of the world is going so far ahead and we are still busy with Bandhs, Dharnas, Strikes, communal sparks, rservations, petty politics and so on. When would we people stop all this non sense and work towards an India which would be an even better place to live and work in.

You have missed one thing. Here in the video of few minutes represent the full day. That's why the revolution seems so fast.

It seems Mr. Mittal is very knowledgeable person. He has a good vision for the country. He is a philonthropist. He donates heavily for the 'Akshayapatra' scheme run by ISKCON.

"He is a philanthropist" ?????

nops philanthropist is a person who officially declares himself as one. Mr. Mittal never declared himself as one.. donating heavily will not make a person philanthropist. bill gates and warren are examples of philanthropists

Correction: Arable Land
by Pavan on Jun 22, 2008 01:15 AM  Permalink

India has second highest arable land in the world only next to US. Mr. Mittal mis-quoted this (14th minute in the video above) as only next to China.

Arable Land (Million sq km)
China:        1.48
India:        1.79

My intention here is not to pin point the mistake, but to set the fact right.

Thanks
