Don't understand why so much hue and cry about how to handle or invest the PF money of workers. People at so many quarters are worried about how to steal this hardearned money of workers. Meetings after meetings by government and other EPF officials all these years for nothing. Simply let the employees be allowed to open a PF account with any banks of his choice as soon he joins a company and every month his contribution and the employer's contribution be deposited in the said account and the normal interest rate will be applicable. He / she will have a PF passpook and thereby the whole thing is transparent and he doesn't have to run pillar to post for his balance and withdrawal, etc. to EPFO office where everybody knows how difficult to get the things done for the poor workers. Please discard the EPFO and use this resources for some meaningful purpose.
