Not sure about the corruption, inflation or Aids but yes India will certainly overtake China in population.
Indians should reproduce slowly. Part of the problem is the preference of boys over girls. The sex ratio in some states like Punjab/Haryana is less than 850.

nothing wrong in that picture...india is known for its traffic jams... they could have posted a picture of mumbai or b'lore airport road traffic jam pic.. which shows what is india
Well, this may not be that important in this context. But look at the pictures put up for each country, they all signify the respective country's culture, highlight and beauty. Except for India ;)

truley can not u guys get hold of photo of Tajmahal .. or Some peaks of Himalay or beautiful photographs of western ghats or north east india ... or some good picture of Indian woman in a betiful ethinic dress out some many states we have . Media always likes to depict india some poor thing.. traffic snarls .... poverty .. slums ...
The figures given seems to be unrealistic for oil consumption. US = 20.73 million barrels/day China = 6.534 millions barrels /day Japan = 5.578 million barrels/day Germany = 2.65 million barrels/day Russia - 2.45 million barrels/day India = 2.45 million barrels/day

2.45 Million barrels /day means approx 3.29 Crore Ltrs of oil consumption. This much I think only 4 metro city can consume in one day in transport sector Cra/BUS/TRucks only. What about rest of India, Railway/ Power house/Industries ? not considered therefore the figure given for India is not correct.

MOST IMPORTANTLY- WE MUST HAVE FIGURES THAT GIVE A PER CAPITA CONSUMPTION INSTEAD OF A TOTAL VALUE- BEING LARGER COUNTRIES INDIA/CHINA/RUSSIA WILL NATURALLY FIGURE IN THE TOP TEN. LETS GET REALISTIC
When you can show Statue of Liberty for USA and Beijing Olympic Stadium for China, you can certainly portray India much better than the Delhi Traffic Jam picture. If you did not have any good one, you could have asked me...
