One sees what one is made to see. Please see through the facade of corruption, political-criminal nexus, procastination and above all deciet of fellow country men by our leaders.
Governing systems are so parralised and currupt, you still need to pay few ruppies to use toilet in gov office....so where do you see the transformation?
Still people living under poverty line is more than 50%. Still peoples starving, still they dont have a breads for them Still the education level and the systems are poor...
Madam, What transformation you could see is totaly due within private sector. Where there is less political involvement(what ever litle there is just to approve project by paying hefty bribes..In indian context u can call it ransom) Still to start new projects it will take 15-20 year to get decision, Once project approved it will start another 10 yeart to laid the Stone, and more 25 years to complete the project.
Why you didn't approach 5years before? Where is this USBIC went? You need to make money from india through your business.Who are you? Are you a messanger for US to cheat your own country. Shame on you nooyi. All countries wants to invest in india because they knows that india is growing sure they can make big profits out of us. Indian politicians please don't let this to happen.

Lets keep her daily on Pepsi & Frito Lay Diet( Supposedly Healthly) for few years and see if it helps her to get rid of some you know what ..She should drink 10 bottles of Pepsi and 10 Bags of Frito Lay Chips every day..See If that makes her fit and fine to watch effects of products that she is promoting in India..
Absolutely & this transformation shud have been 30 yrs back when Nehru Indira Gandhi made a mess of the economy with their commi/socialistic outlook...Quote Winston Churchill"After independence Rascals & Goondaas wl take over India" & exactly our politicians ensured Churchill's fear...& they r still around

rascals and gondas though bad are better than leeches and virus--the british who sucked the blood out of india--money and wealth. If british would have still been ruling india we wouldnt have had the privilege of sitting in front of a pc reading and discussing indias progress.churchill was a politician and he has to make such statement in order to justify british rule in india. since when did we start beleieving political statements??
Just about 8 years back everyone was saying we must learn from ENRON how to manage an economic empire. Now where is it ? Coke and Pepsi are getting kicked out everywhere.
The only thing that CEOs ensure is that their salaries and perks always high.
We have seen enough of the corporate duplicity which don't even mind fudging the performance audits to artificially beef up stocks so that CEOs stock options stay sound and by the time the fraud is found they woould have sold them and quit the company too.
If one goes by the history so far, it is a question of WHEN the skeletons will be out rather than WHETHER.
CEO preaches to people a best is a poor comedy. Its upto rediff stop this nonsense.

Koi bhi country perfect nahi hota hain. Usko perfect banana padta hain. The western countries started in caves 3000 yrs back and now see how 100% literacy transformed them. In india literacy is growing and so will development due to it. See how much progress we made since 1947.

Indians should Learn from Indra K Nooyi, PepsioCo's first lady Chairman and CEO how to train yourself to become a successful person by becoming an optimist. Glass Half Empty or Half Full? Both same. Take the message in the right sense. Stop being cynical.
I don't think you've even read thro the slides. Nooyi talks about the need to work in infratrusture, agriculture and education. And that's correct.
And btw, WHY should she not want to live where she is working? She's worked hard to get where she is. I'm sure you'd give your right AND left hand to be in her position!!!
