If you gift to your brother, they don't need to pay any tax for the amount received, but the gifted money need to show in your taxable income.

What bull s**t, whats new that rediff has told? If any males taxable income is below Rs 1.5 Lac (in his respective tax bracket, everyone knows he wont pay any tax.
