I think this is a very good news. This careless chickens had created hike in property values, high cost of vegetables and all coming to high cost of leaving. And that to a major gap between poor and rich. That leads to crime.
Really all should grounded to know the exact world. Presently they are not knowing the world and staying in their virtual life only.

No one is careless while spending........ afterall, we are not simply paid for anything. We are asked to work for days continously to develop products that are useful to a common man like you. Forgot the days of standing in a queue and enjoying online services, but you want the people behind your convenience to suffer now. How far is this justified?

agreed! but the people in TCS are the ones who are paid the least pay in the whole IT market. So, atleast this might not have happened to them at the first shot.
It seems that quite a few are actually HAPPY(!) that this is happening. From where I see it, its just a small step to help stabilize their positions, which remain rock solid as ever. I didn't know people had so much negativity against an industry that has almost single handedly created the 'great indian middle class'.

check the inflation rates... and also check the reasons behind them in the age when there was no IT what was the rate of inflation..? the person governing the RBI is not a fool to check the cause of inflation if this is the real cause...

We are producing only software coolies in India...No developement in R&D Sections.. Time to cut 50% salaries of all software coolies for inclusive growth as PM stated earlier...LAL SALAAM....

Defenitely right. There is no point in giving so much salaries for software people. Reduce the salary by half, automatically the real estate will come down and so the normal non-software employees also purchase land. This salary increase makes non-software live in rental houses in cities throughout the life and if the salary for software professionals is reduced, everyone will purchase land at an affordable late. So, iam with your comments sir. Stop giving more salaries to Software labourers ( even your call of coolie is also correct).

just learn from germany they developed Core Engineering fields than and shown thats the real development not developing IT sector sector and saying country has developed. Develop mechanical and Electrical fields it develops the life style of people not IT.

70% cut so that non IT people also can stay in city due to IT people all Non IT people leaving to City outskirts for less rental homes as they cant afford it due to IT people

This is just a beginning . Those TCS,Infosys chairman always betrays the employees. It s an indicator of how much they depend on the U.S. Because of the dollar depreciation they met lower revenues. See the life of IT.

Non IT people like us will get cheap vegetables and other commodities and walk in the road pridly, not to shy about the Infosys tag wearing (I hope when they go to toilet they will hide the tag)people who looks non IT as well as other IT people like a worm
If salaries are cut, how can an IT professional buy a house or flat the prices of which are already running to reach crore. Life of IT guys will become miserable like a common man. Buying a car, house or villa will remain a distant dream.

the big difference is the IQ. Bcoz of IT, you are today able to draw money from ATM, book train tickets on Net, using mobile phones etc. This is all not possible with a common man like you.

Hi chanakaya, Why every one are balming only the IT guys. IT persons are also like comman man. Why you are not raising any questions to persons who are charging more.
At last some brakes have been applied for IT. Its time for all IT guys to taste the reality of life. All these days they were hyped when dollar was doing good. I think all good things shud come to an end. Thanks for indian economy...Rupee doing good agains Dollar.

Indian economy is not responsible for ruppee appreciation it's not that indian economy is growing, but us economy is slowing. So dolloar is depreciated to rupee not that thr rupee ia appreciating the dollar. Dont be fake proud of indian economy brother. I indain economy was so strong then last week market crash and now this tcs salary ct-down would not happen.

Why going for salary cut for entire staff? Instead they can bring down the hike percentages. It can go for standardizing the pay at all levels, this adjusts the budget and also sees that the beginner and intermediate level employees are not affected seriously.
