Atlast the IT companies doing good job.Everybody is choosing the IT for their salaries only,and even the person BA,BCOM also moving to this field only.

A simple MCA pass is COO and aiming for CEO.

This is not possible in IT you need to be at par to be an CEO , not just based on relative.. this is not Govt. and Jugad idus...

TCS is The biggest SHIT in the market. This is the only company which will go to IIT to hire freshers and also to BB Guda Malegoan Insti of Tech located in some street of Vijaywada and then giving better project n money to the passout of latter institute.And ofcourse will make IIT grad do some real shit piece of work until he's fed up and leaves the comp. TCS just never care for their employees and their worth. Thats why even TCSers dont respect their own company. Like one of my frenz in TCS says 'TCS is a company to have rest when u r in India and to make money when on onsite in US.' The way TCS big shots are managing..no wonder in near future people will be ashamed to tell others that they are TCS employees.

Absoultely. this statement wil fit for lower management people. Simply they are sitting and shiting in onsite without doing anything.
they will pressurise poor real skilled employees like junk job cuts or salary cuts something. If they are asked to go offshore they will say no.
Coming to EVA concept, when they introduced this concept, they said when company performs well, it will go to EVA bank and if any crisis comes, they will use. As per their past statement, company performed extreemly well in past two years. Where is that concept now?
Where is that profit goes? Why they are begging
from poor employees (like me). Is TCS cant recover just 80 cr from their own? Why they are asking from employee. They are cheating. I am planning to sue this issue. Because here begging money is not a problem, untruthful/false statement is a problem. Not for myself. For letting know the truth everyboy.

Any suggestions welcome.

Tcs paid you ten times more than what you are worth in other fields because of the exchange rate difference advantage.Now that advantage is fading.If you are a lady and rejected bridegrooms from other fields your punishment is due now as dollar will keep on sinking year after year.

IIT vs Rest

You have to believe that rest are managing the show. IITan needs to come out of their BIG mind. After all everyone has to perform and meet expectations. Note I am ex-IITan.

This happens when there is take over. Take the example of Tata technologies. When tata technologies take over INCAT. 50% employees got C grade. 50% variable pay. Soon you may expect that TCS may take over another big company. This is big cheating by TATA group to its employees.

Though companies have minted money and talking about EVA that too Quaterly, i can simply say they are what they are.
The brighter side is Indian rupee is gaining value "the crisis won't last long".
Though TCS a big company and has CMMI, ISO and all stuff basically they lag in structure itself so this is a easy solution for them tham cleaning their own toilet.
Fewer other companies may likely to use the same strategy but not all.

I see lots of cries in this forum. Who does cry when they get fired? or when they are afraid of get fired?? Those who cannot find another job! who got the current job using some fake resume and by sheer luck! STOP Crying!! if you know Stuff, there are lots of positions for you. If not, Pity you.

there is a saying 'sudden raise leads to sudden fall'. it applies to IT field well. i hope, from now onwards, people will consider these crisis times while forcing their childs into IT fields. in fact, banks & govt also depends on IT employees salaries coz they pay more income taxes than other fields employees.now banks will strict their home loan policies.

It's not always a cut

TCS did pay additional EVA to 4 & 5 rated employees 2 years back. It is no surprise that some time the cut was going to happen. Problem is this cut will make the good employees go away from the company as the high performing employees will be affected the most. Then what will remain is the junk who are paid more than they deserve for some back office jobs. And the company performance will go even more down. This is a vicious circle. I dont know what the TCS management is going to do about it!

If one caompares what one got then to what one is hit with now you theres a difference. Please understand that TCSs variable component is almost 40-50% of total pay as compared to say IBMs/Delloits 20%. A 20% of 50% is 10% of pay whereas 20% of 20% would be 4% of pay. Other companies pay you a bonus on EVA surpluses as well which TCS has been silent about till now.
