boss is always commanding and leaders are the best bosses ever, since leaders handle the problems and not the people affected by those problems. Most of the bosses want to emulate their previous bosses and do the same thing done by their earlier bosses, to their juniors now.
In my case its lil bit different i head one of the division and always try to help & support my Jrs & subs..insted of Appriciating it they say My boss doesnt know how to control his Staff!and they take it for granted everything...Because they got habituiated by getting screwed and if you treat them well its difficult to digest...So The Moral Of The Story"...Unless u tough,rough& squeez their balls they dnt perform...A Typical Indian Style..

Hi Sam , Leadership and management is an art .Probably u r trying to master it but may take some time and experience for u to control.Ofcourse sometimes the colleagues u are managing may be rough but most of the time it is the top which has to modify .I always take this way.If some junior behaves diferent I percieve it as something lacking in me not in him

thats the modest way to answer...i agree wid u...but still we are in india the transfomation from western it will tke time...ur terms sounds more like westerners..we live in india it takes time to change indian mentality..

abt my exp.. now days facing most terible person (my mng)ever..he cant c u happy n when he talks he just insults u 4 no reasons..if u ask 4 leavin at 8 pm also..he ll say so early!!! All senior mng`s knw abt him..but cmpy`s r making money..n they forget ppl values..Hope to c good days soon..when i ll leave this F wrk..n ll be my own boss!!!

Some managers have very bad family life in india and they make sure that others also have the same.I always believed that 8 hours is the max an employee should work and it is upon the manager to see that he or she should not work more than that .I also have worked for 18-20 hours a day for months but I never tell my junior collegues to do that and make sure that only in urgent cases I may ask for their help but try to give extra time for personal work

why canot u go for a job in a govt Bank (if you have age??) you can even scold the manager as well as the customer at the same time.

in govt job the boss would b still worst..beside sadistic ... i m govt emplyee who submit myself perfectly but my boss bully me as i am sincere where as with tough guy coolegues he asks or comment nothing n give leave librally to them ....unless they r neutral they all sadists.....

That does not mean that upper caste Hindu's should continue to oppress lower caste people - it still happens in every strata of hindu society. The only option that remains with the lower caste people is to renounce Hinduism.
