NewYork.14.01.2008. Indians think themselves great with whatever they do. Recent one is they think Saree fits well with their President. Indians dont believe that their President spoils the image of the Sarees. Only the US president will look great in that..

I believe that you two daughters are learning Hindi and Chinese. I guess your fellow AMERICANS are not as smart as you. I am sure that you will agree with me.

Next, INDIA will invent 4 seat double engine super light weight passenger aircraft. It might be called TATA WINGS!!!

BTW: When are you going to write a book about 'DEATH OF A SUPERPOWER'. It will help the historians with your ability to give facts and figures.

We dont need the approval or appreciation From US .As long as it is serving our purpose its fine.

Us never acknowledges any new innovations from third world nations. best examaple is newer drugs innovated from Indian pharma companies which were not allowed to get the USFDA approval.

This is only a start - India will soon emerge as the most powerful nation
by Raghuraman Narayanan on Jan 14, 2008 06:52 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Jealous! Westeners cannot tolerate Indians' growth in IT and knowledge industry. Knowledge is power, which India has abundantly. I challenge, for arguement sake, if all Indians in America come back to India, America will soon loose their position as number one. India's moon mission, mars mission, efforts to completely removing poverty will make India as the top most nation on this earth in next 50 to 100 years. Indications are already there. Example IT, BPO, KPO industries, indivenously developed missiels and anti-missiles, richet person on earth, etc. These are all clear Key Indicators. West cannot stop India's growth. Politicians also realized this. Now they are trying to capitalize technology and India's growth for their own growth. Never ever they will try to stop India's growth as that will give them more wealth and power. Leftists, who always cry that poorer becomes more poorer also have started ralizing the effects of capitalizim (recent Jyothi Basu's comments). Definitely, in next 50 to 100 years there will not be poverty in India. Every Indian will be earning more than 50,000 INR per month, which will be more than sufficient for making a reasonable liviing. There will be some people who will be earning more than 5 million INR a day. Leftist should not complain that rich becomes richer. Overall, in the next 50 to 100 years, it is for sure India will become number one country in the world. They will be providing suitable employment to Westners.

Reply to Raghuraman's message ,from R N Pathak
Let us not be emotional. True, Mr Raghuraman has admitted that it would take another 100 years for us to remove poverty. In fact , poverty eradication is our last priority which is explained by the fact that in terms of varios human development indicators , we are slipping at world platform and the gap between haves and havr nots is increasing day by the day. Any country's development is measured in terms of per capita income etc and not by a few postive developments in certain fields. In my view, America need not be jealous of us at this stage, though, talking of Nano, this is an outstanding achievement for which, all credit must be given to Ratan Tata and his team. They have developed world's cheapest car without any foreign collaboration.

Americans sent man on the moon before any indians were there. As a matter of fact americas biggest achievements were when there were no Indians. In 1956 America accounted for 56% of world GDP as compared to 25% now, and there were no Indians.

So dont talk like an arrogant big mouth and take a walk around your garbage filled city. In 50 years there will be RIOTS in India for food with population of 1.7 billion.

Do you know today we are importing basic thing as wheat and food from abroad to feed our population. And who can forget rise of terrorism. how many attacks in US after 9-11. Brilliant people from all over will continue to flow to America.

Think positively, you can achive positive. India is a country which produced Vivekananda, CV Raman, Rabindranath Tagore, Gandhiji and so many other valuable and meaningful personalities. Dont be negative. I am not against America - try to understand. What I am trying to say is KNOWLEDGE IS POWER and India has that power. It will take long time to transpire. Thats why I said that it would take 50 to 100 years. Dont you feel the Key Indicators and their consistent performance?
