pros & cons of BSNL over AIRTEL
by krish nan on Jan 14, 2008 04:20 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

BSNL and Airtel landline , broadband if we compare , there are wide range of plan in AIRTEL.

But BSNL price simply superb comparing the entry level of both with broadband.

EDGE over the BSNL by Airtel is SERVICE , but then AIRTEL service is good until you are a subscriber, if u have some problem , if u want to disconnect then terrible service than BSNL.

OVERALL Airtel is better than BSNL

BSNL Data Card
by Surender Sharma on Jan 14, 2008 03:58 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Is BSNL is providing Data Card for laptop users to access Internet while roaming? I am planning to go to Nagaland and I will not be able to use internet with my Airtel Data Card. Reliance, Hutch, Tata Indocom all have refused to provide Data Card which can be helpful in accesing internet. Will it be possible for any one to reply. Also how one can access internet in Nagaland?

welcome to stock market - small story
by krish nan on Jan 14, 2008 03:12 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Once upon a time in a village, a man appeared and announced

to the villagers that he would buy monkeys for Rs10.

The villagers seeing that there were many monkeys around,

went out to the forest and started catching them.

The man bought thousands at Rs10 and as supply started to

diminish, the villagers stopped their effort. He further

announced that he would now buy at Rs20. This renewed the

efforts of the villagers and they started catching monkeys

again.

Soon the supply diminished even further and people started

going back to their farms. The offer rate increased to Rs25

and the supply of monkeys became so little that it was an

effort to even see a monkey, let alone catch it!

The man now announced that he would buy monkeys at Rs50!

However, since he had to go to the city on some business,

his assistant would now buy on behalf of him.

In the absence of the man, the assistant told the villagers.

Look at all these monkeys in the big cage that the man has

collected. I will sell them to you at Rs35 and when the man

returns from the city, you can sell it to him for Rs50."

The villagers squeezed up with all their savings and

bought all the monkeys.

Then they never saw the man nor his assistant,

only monkeys everywhere!!!

Welcome to the "Stock" Market!!!!!

Hey better keep quite if you dont know about the financial strength of BSNL.

None of the existing operators dare match its coverage across the length of the nation.

Its a game of volumes, you must be extremely ignorant of making this comment about the country's largest telecom company, in the fastest growing sector of the economy.
