hello Mr. Bajaj -- Its not Tata or it's 1 lac car who should be worried of running cost, but it should be You and YOur company who should be worried of running in the future. Donot speak when u have no idea what a 4 wheeler is.
is a joker. He cannot compete with Tata so resorts to below the belt tactics. He should shut his mouth and fight it out by getting a better car than Tata and letting market place decide
Hats off and kudos to Ratan and the team. They have put all people to eat their words. There were so many roumers to insult his calibre.the most famous ones are ,
1) maruti chief said"If Tata makes 1 Lac car , I will pack off my business" .....is he going to do this? ...Market forces will do it for him. 2) He will convert rickshaw into car by adding one wheel and covering the body. 3)He will join 2 bikes by planks for sitting and covering them with roof. 4) Peole will have to carry their own seats while sitting in the car. 5)It will use cheap engineand pollute the walkers to death. 6)There will be bullock cart suspensions to the car. 7)There will not be engine to the car , but will have to be pulled by the bullocks. 8)He has started or paid for singur nandigram issue , because he can take shelter that land is not available to him so the car to people.
Salam to him and his team who defied the world.
I think the best honour to this Indian citizon is to make him President of India , I dont think he deserves anything less.

Ratan Tata is the Real Ratna (Gem.). He too deserved to be awarded the Highest civillian award of the Land-Bharat Ratna.

I like the idea of him being the next president...after Abdul Kalam he is the deserving candidate.
Im gonna wait for the Bajaj car, which seems to have long term prospects. Moreover, they have a headstart is understanding the entry level market courtesy their 2/3 wheeler business. Bajaj's comments indicate a "head over shoulder" approach. At best, Tatas will open the market and Bajaj will rule the roost later. TIME WILL TELL, maybe by 2012/2013

Let it be a metal crap. You are just worried that there would be more traffic. Your 12 lakh car will not protect you from an accident and neither will a 8 lakh, 6 lakh or a one lakh car. Or are you just jealous that your peasant neighbours will also now flaunt a car. Thats what your worry is. Now everyone has a car and you dont have that extra snobby edge over others. So you were a big fool to buy a 12 lakh car. Go sell it for 3 lakhs and buy 3 Tata cars.

What a big joke... Till now Left opposed Tatas and Birlas of this country along with MNCs and calling everybody as anti-people forces. Now, suddenly they changed their hearts as rest of the country is developing much faster than non-developing WB, so they wanted a truce with Tatas & MNCs and allowing them to construct factories by illegally getting lands from poor people and calling anti-people forces whoever oppose left thugs.... Isn't it called hypocrisy and dishonesty...
After doing lot of research, tatas have brought cars that will lead to more traffic.
Isn't it time for them to sit down and think of better designed, low cost, fuel efficient BUSES which can be used for improving public transport ? This will ELIMINATE need of private vehicles and we'll have unpolluted, descent, confortable life.
