Before calling me moron dare to show your real name. Dont abuse, think once again on what I writeen. Every state has different priorities, different tax structure, different weathers, different problems One typical budget can not solve all the problems.

Please be a bit more sensible when you think that way. Are you suggesting that every unit like state, district and village need representations there in that high level committee to address all our problems?? Cheers to the comments made by "ItsMe"
Difficult to beleive that these cong ministers will not inform Soniaji. Difficult to beleive that these DMK State Finance Minister will not inform Karunaji. Difficult to beleive that these bereaucrats will not inform their wife's.

Not neccessary to know english as it is foreign language. May be you were born to english man , when they were here and thereby know best english.
Article is indeed a superb one. But, there is a price for anything in this country. May be for budget, a 'c' more. But, the amount of changes that get into before the final presentation is made prevent the guys from sneaking into. Even someone publishes a budget news based on authenticated information, unless the so-called change takes place in the final shape-up, it remains as 'active consideration' only.

i think in every budget certain changes have been made after listening to the views of the MPs.. since a budget touches on such diverse issues i think its impractical for a budget to get rejected completely

every budget is approved by Lok Sabha. It is not mandatory it is also approved by the Rajya Sabha. If Lok Sabha accepts even Re1 change in budget, the government (not only the finance minister) has to resign.

Budget is submitted by the ruling (majority)party , 99% budget gets approved, if not opposition can bring no confidence motion against the ruling party and chances of disolving the government are more

Same thought came in my mind. But alas, Indian people will reject that film until, Mallika Sheravat is shown in this flick dancing at finance ministry priniting press just before midnight of budget day. Also some hot scenes of her on same location.
Most of the politician and the Govt officers are money operated...in this country you can buy any thing for money...including big justices...what is a budget anyway...this info must be with many big stock brokers who will mint money in coming days on dalal street, many business man who will take advantage of this...Sonia Gandhi and her chamcas whos name does not appear above have to bless this...we can go on...
