Lalu Yadav or Chalu Yadav will be the question after going through his rail budget. He's cut the fares in AC category only & no cut has been given in non-ac category.Does he know tht common man for whom this budget was talked about almost everytime travels by non-ac coaches ? If lalu has so much liking for tha common man then he shd had cut fares in non-ac category. He's a Bhalu yadav taking credit of the policies adopted by NDA govt.

Nice one Even I agrees to ur comment. as nothing for common man Thay just fooling the people by giving such kind of name.No cuts in non a.c. coach. Motivationg people to travel by a.c. coach as the fares has dropped n collecting more n more revenue from common man, Is this he called Commom man budget?

So keeping the common man in mind, the railway minister has cut passenger fares. He announced a cut of 5% in second class sleeper class train fare; AC-1 train fare down by 7%, AC-2 tier fares down 4%, AC-3 tier fares down by 3%./

Mr. Sunil, first read the highlights of the Railway Budget properly and then comment. Above news read as follows:
So keeping the common man in mind, the railway minister has cut passenger fares. He announced a cut of 5% in second class sleeper class train fare; AC-1 train fare down by 7%, AC-2 tier fares down 4%, AC-3 tier fares down by 3%./
This is an unimaginable budget. May this Govt. continue for ever. You have prepared a good balanced budget keeping the lower section of the society in mind. You have shut up the opposition mouth as well.

well, thinking about govt. if finance minister takes a look at what LALU did, he may have a chance, otherwise, we need LALU to handle finance too..
Mr. Chidamabram introduced all kind of taxes in his new and old terms, now we are all suffering.

this is not such a good budget because the new budget is only seems to be good when u see it keenly it is not holding good aspects. Lets see how much and from when this all budget things starts in real terms....
Cudos to Lallu. When he first took up the position of Railway Minister, he started going backwards by making "kullhads" mandatory and all that. But in his new avtaar, he has created wonders. All this may be the work of the babus but he has led them and is worthy of applauds. Railways under him is improving on daily basis. He is the only Railway Minister who has done something for Mumbai suburaban trains (making available new lines, introducing new racks, improving cleanliness at stations etc.) he is also improving the quality of the coaches. True, Indian Railways still have miles to go before it reaches the Western standards but a beginning has been made. Whoever thought of raulways making profit in the old days. This guy has made it possible year after year. Hats off to you Mr. Railway Minister

Everyone do thanks Mr. Lallu or just giving Hat's off to him. Have ever think who Did all these things possible? Is it Lallu Yadav? No its one who making ppolicies in the Back office some IAS officer, Some other people who has brain to work. Lallu n many others are just Artist, who plays their character as per the film. No hat's off when he Did chara ghotala? No hat's off when He Made a statement like Next Chhatt puja in Mumbai? Boss, if U really wants to thank then thank those who working for budget n not these actors.

kulhad was a very forward-looking initiative by the way. These days, being "green" is in fashion and our man was ahead of his time in that sense, by replacing plastic with clay cups.
Politically motivated Rail budget, not for the actual benefit of Railways as well as aam-Admi (As described by the Railway Minister Lalu Yadav). The focus of this budget is totally based on the ensuing Parliamentary Election. So-called populist budget ultimately hamper our Indian Railways (Like to carry overloaded wagon through the general tracks, Without guard Level Crossing Problem etc). No clear direction about Railway Security & Safety especially after the terrorist attack in different parts of the country. Only Bihar favored %u2013 UPA Favored railway budget, not for the common people benefit.

Don%u2019t try to make me happy, try to make the entire nation happy. Unfortunately which is not done by Mr Lalu Prasad(Railway Minister). By providing So-called populist budget he is trying to eye wash the common people but unmanned level crossing problem, railway safety problem is totally ignored by him.

Well done Lalu Yadavji for bringing a new coach factory for Kerala! Thank you !! In fact this should have come to Kerala 25 years ago, instead it went to Punjab at that time. Kerala deserves this and more!
RE:lalu anti-kannada

It was a misunderstanding or misrepresentation. As the Deccan Herald journo asked him, "will you recruit local Kannadigas?" he replied "ee sab gandi baatein mat kiya karo." Most of us find it difficult to understand the colloquial Hindi that Lalu speaks, and the DH journo was no exception; he said Lalu has called the Kannadigas as gandi or dirty. Can you believe a crafty politician who has ambitions to become a PM could ever say that?
