The condition Indian railways is pathetic if you compare with British Rail or Japan rail.
What have done to improve infrstructure of railways? still going ahead with 100 yr old technology and designs? Indian railway is like bullock cart if you compare them with any trains running abroad
By this time you should have planned and implemented bullet trains, overhead tracks connecting far ends of India.
After 150 years still we are using old tracks made by Britishers.
Your signal systems are outdated. Its not you who had brought railways to profit, it is common man and buseness circle who are forced to follow this no choice railways.
You are chargin heavy cancellation charges, damarage charges from the ticket buyers and luggage bookers.
Revenue is generated by cancellation of tickets as you have started 90 days bookinf concept.
60% of tickets are cancelled due to 90 days advance booking.
You are connecting Bihar to Mumbai and other metros.
Real hero of railways was late Madhav rao sindhiaji who revolutionized railways.
You are not more than a joker and we can only enjoy you budget as cartoon show.
You have not given any thing to Bhopal since you resumed railways.
You , mamta and you most of precedors are making budget for your political benefits not for Citizens of India.
I think its high time railways to be given to private hands.

I have only one question to the Laloo haters.Why other public sector undertakings were not able to do the magic which was done by Indian Railway.And is it such a simple thing to achieve a profit 20000 crore without much burden on the Public? I think the students and faculties of IIM and Harward must be idiots to get lessons from Lalu.I am not sure about what happened to Bihar in Lalu's rule and I can't withstand the way his wife came to power after Lalu's exit.But I don't think it is a matter to be discussed here.The subject is the "Transformation of Indian Railway under Lalu" and I personally believe Lalu should be given sheer appreciation.Don't forget while Arun Shuri was the disinvestment minister there was a habit of selling out the shares heavily of Loss making public undertakings.Atleast Lalu proved that we can run a Public Sector Co. profitably and it was an incredible achievement.

Yes, I think IIM graduates ARE fools - even if they aren't, they are going for millions of dollars in foreign jobs - they are not going to travel in indian railways anyway.
So, getting a certificate from IIM for laloo is a misplaced phenomenon. The real certifiers are the passengers and not IIM graduates.

Sorry for being indescent. But I would like to say that the Guys like you are the biggest fool and shame of our country. Theycan never see the positive note of anything. These are people who steal lights,lamps, Tap from the train. Write there best of knowledge gyan on the toilets wall and sign there. Shame on you. Before comapring to Japan and US, try to be like japaneese and American. See the condition of the swarn shatabdi. Nice train like in US and Japan , but like you pleople will throw stone on the train and will laugh at one instance and next they will come here and will complain. Try to be a good Indian with a civic sense. Then you will no its not the facalities but its only you who is not up to the mark. (I am extremely sorry for writing like this , but I think it necessary to explain the things.)

Do you why? It is because of all these fancy fare cuts, railways have 7000 CR losses and has to be made up by frieght income. And nobody would opt frieght if it is not on time and deliver.
Railways is making upthe loss thro' 35% growth in frieght income.
So if you want to be on time for sure you have to consider boarding a goods train. Thanks to popularist Laloo..
Thanks To Lalu, Indian Railway is Going Bihar way%u2026. I happen to travel by sleeper class to north India from Mumbai and Back after 15 days of Tour. It was chill and bitter cold in the North India. Now our experience with Great Indian Lallu Circus started. 1. The Locks (Chatkhani) Of Glass Shutters were never worked. As a result gush of icy winds had very good effect on our rattling bones. I traveled by three sets of train, Swaraj Express, Jhelum Express and Amritsar- Dadar express. The Story was same in all trains. 2. The flush handles in the lavatories are either missing or not working. 3. The rats and cockroaches have a great day and they were enjoying at the passengers expenses. 4. The lavatories were full of dirty water, as there was no proper passage of water. 5. The Food Vendors of the IRCTC were fleecing the passengers, the price of the same food item differed in each trains. When challenged they refuse to show the price card. 6. Unauthorized passengers, who had II class tickets, were traveling without any fear in sleeper class. And the Ticket checking authorities were filling up their coffers. 7. Beggars and Eunuchs were harassing the bona fide passengers along with local passengers.
And there are more%u2026 I just wonder how IIMS and other famous institutions gave high score for Indian Railway. They must have traveled by stage managed Rahdhani Express. They should travel with common public in sleeper class and then give their alluring comments. It

Still nothing has changed except e-Tickeing, and this is not implemented (or idea) by laloo. This has started even before laloo can understand what is internet. Guys I have recently travelled in sleeper class to check status of our Indian Railways. Still travelling in Sleep class and General is challanging , and most of citizen of India travel in that class. Laloo has given rights of travelling free of cost to Hawkers, Beggers, enuche, etc., And TT of Indian railways are worst in term of corruption.
Guys those who are speaking against him, why not give him a chance as he is proving his metals already. He maybe a corrupted guy before but he looks alright now. See IITians listening to him is no ordinary stuff guys.
