Information Technology - would someone elaborate as to what Information and Technology development are being carried out in these 'IT' destinations other than some Techies doing some back-end jobs for their clients?

Lol, this is village ( Gaon) where Gur ( Jaggery) is produced. Hence it is Gur-gaon. This is one of the most backward area ( Mewat ) in India. Guess now where it is? Enough of clues?

Gurgaon is a story of great transformation. From the most backward area uptil 1983 with harldy any cultivation, today it produces maximum number of cars, motorcycles, cycles, tractors, auto parts, in fact more then half of national production and buying comes from this city. It leads the pack in Garment export. BPO is another feather. Best of reality companies, e.g. Unitech, DLF , Ansals, SEZ's are here. This is place which welcomes people , not only from all corner of India but from the world. Welcome my friends to my humble city
Up & Bihar - Northern States are most backward in the whole country while AP,Karnataka and TN,the Southern States are topmost in IT exports and considered knowledge centers(Biotech,Pharma, Space research etc). What a contradiction within the same country.lol

This is only Bcos, Mayawati and Laloo rule UP and Bihar.. We have to be carefull since Mayawathi is enetring south toooo....instead of uplifting her own state..

its not the govenment who got the IT boom in Bangalore, people are more dedicated towards growth....human basics needs to be inplace to grow....people of Karnataka are more sensible and do not interfere in others matter hence they grow with good competition. Other way round if you see in UP & Bihar people are lazy and busy in others matters...now when there is develpment they want the share...imagine hwo much tax Karnataka pays to center which is spent on UP & Bihar for no use....
Rediff has given the wrong message that chennai is the third largest exporter of IT; According to NASSCOM, Chennai holds the second place in exporting software.....
