unlikely because there is no reservation in IT. even if the odd one makes it, it would be in QA/testing or the usual sweeper, toilet cleaner stuff.
Hyderabad would have been No 1 in IT if Chandra babau naidu would have been Chief minister again but unfortunately he lost so that made bangalore no 1 now , but sill i would say hyd is no one in infrastructure and a clean city , i have been to all metros in india except Delhi i could not find any other place which would beat Hyd in any accept , right now living in bangalore with cramp roads with lots of dust i do agree bangalore have the higest number of IT companies

I support My brother Mr Gowda. bangaluru is grown enough all crabs go out of bangalore
Hyderabad now has India's 1st Greenfield Airport. Spread over 5400 acres & one of the biggest Airports not just in INdia, also in SE Asia. The new airport at Shamshabad in Hyd is now 99.99% complete and already flight tested & wud be inaugurated on Mar.16, 2008.The NEW HYD INT'L AIRPORT (also to be known as Rajiv Gandhi Int'l Airport) has the longest runway in India at a whopping length of 4.26 kms & can support Super Jumbo aircraft Boeing A780s.This is also because US Presidents often land in either Delhi or Hyderabad (the 2 most happening cities of India) using their Super Jumbo aircraft. New Hyd Airport in Shamshabad is being connected to the heart of the city with the help of engineering marvels...like the PV Narasimha Rao Expressway (This is 11.8 kms long and being completed now...This is India's longest expressway/flyover). Also in execution stages are 162.5 kms Outer Ring Road & some Inner Ring Roads.80 roads in city are already being widened to a massive 150 ft to make Hyd World class when the World's Biggest Metro Rail Project in PPP mode (the HYDERABAD METRO) gets inaugurated 4 years from now. Hyd Metro Rail will be a 100% AC rail system with world class safety & sophistication. 11 more IT Parks are also coming up in the city. ALready Hyd is the GENOME Capital of India with more than 100 companies in ICICI Knowledge Park.Hyd already has World's Greenest Building with platinum rating (CII Godrej GBC). 2 100 floor towers, 1 Reliance Energy tower being built. Lot

I am from Delhi and i went to Hyderabad last year on some project. Hyderabad infrastructure is much better then many other Metro cities in India. Roads in Hyderabad are more wider then Delhi. Hyderabad has all potential to become next top IT Hub.

The infrastructure could have been even better had Chandrababu Naidu been elected to power again. The streets were much cleaner and in much better shape during TDP rule. Also remember, the international airport,IT parks ,other infrastructure projects were started during his tenure which are being finished now. Though his contribution to rural/village economy and to agriculture in particular is debatable, there's no doubt it was him who was single handedly responsible for Hyderabad becoming a top IT destination. Other cities/states can take a lesson that one single determined leader can make all the difference and can transform an entire city within 7-8 years if the government/leadership is persistent enough.

Hyd may have grown under telgu desams rule but villages saw zero development. The present congress rule is corrupt but its doing much more for agriculture and overall state's growth than the previous government.
Also it's not true that one person or a leader is responsible. There is lot of potential here in the number of engineering graduates(more than 100,000 a year) and hence the companies used their services. The government is just a mediator and a facilitator. Ultimately, the change or progress is brought about by the people.

For your kind information the GMR airport was on paper during the time of CBN for four years. Ask GMR Chairman. He will give the best answers to CBN admirers........ It was starter only in 2004 and it is the fastest ever project to be completed. To tell something about CBN whomever he supports they lose. Latest Casualty Hillary Clinton who led obama by double digits but after our CBN endorsement she is trying to save her face......... Its not only hardwork you need, you need luck dear friends....

Hyderbad which is in telangana region is the most backward in the whole state. That's the reason they're demanding a seperate state. The coastal andhra region is much better in all regards. Though it is changing and all regions are developing equally now. It's nobody's fault that you're ignorant and know only Hyd in AP. In fact,Vizag is a much more beautiful city than Hyd though not as big.
Rather than we fighting, and boosting of our cities, why dont we list the bad points of ones city and the politices who has thrown the city in poor light, this will create an awarness among all of us
