India still good destination
by mahesh kumar on Feb 21, 2008 10:32 AM  Permalink

As per Cisco Chief global Officer India is good for exports and China has good domestic market.In India bangalore still has lot of potential and good talent availbale in this.Place and climate pubs malls and youth are added advantage for that.Infrastructurewise Bangalore has developed to major destination in short period of time and things are improving in this space too.But complete development will happen after Devegowda.He is curse for this city.

kuch bhi story bana ke daal dete hai..half the list is obvious and other half is simply cooked up! aise to there are software companies in even small towns in India nowadays, that doesnt make them stand at par in IT with say, Bangalore, Hyd or Pune.

Remove Chennai: No one wants to go there
by Murli on Feb 21, 2008 10:22 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Most of the destinations on your list were correct except Chennai. I have seen people leaving the company when they are asked to go to chennai. No one wants to go to chennai. Its a pla ce with high regional and lingual intolerance and culturally very much arrogantly departed from mainstream of India.

@ Murli

I totally agree with u that most of the non-Tamils dont want to come to chennai. Chennai is diff when compared to other cities Unlike other cities like Bangalore or Mumbai, chennai dont need non-local immigrants for IT job. There are enough Tamil IT profs to support the IT growth. Thats y its not at 3rd position may be even a better position in the near future seeing the amount of investment in the city.

Murali & Thomas,

Tamilians are most tolerant people. they had a CM for 10 years who is a malayalee and another 10 years under Kannadiga Brahmin.

TN had never been a ground for divisive forces like BJP and Sangh Parivar in that way it is away from the divisive mainstream of BJP not INDIA.

TN has provided 5 finance ministers over the years. Chennai is one of the metropolis with seaport which attracted many MNC to start business.

There are no attacks on other state people like recent MNS attacks on north indians.

There are many Crab Bengalis, Marwadis and Mallus (800000) in Chennai.

Bull shit in your head in place of brain

@sasikanth,
Other State IT people came after industries were developed.True Bangalore has multicultural labour force but the credit cannot be denied that it was Bangalore that started the developed industries and set the trend of modern development of India. It was only there after multicultural work force came in
