Why not Mysore?
by thribhuvan hk on Feb 21, 2008 03:27 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Why nobody is talking about mysore? Even mysore has got the potential to become one of the IT hubs , but all depends on cheap people like devegowda and his family.

Trivandrum?
by popkorn on Feb 21, 2008 02:52 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

Trivandrum, fast becoming a fav destination for IT/ITES companies, from where the largest IT exports from kerala. with companies like allianz crnhill, ernst & young, Infosys,TCS, TAta Elxsi etc currently operating from here and satyam, wipro etc confirming the commencement of their operations soon, i'm sure it will definetly find a place in the top 10 IT destination when rediff makes one. cheers!

How come u missed out noida...

There's virtually nothing in delhi,

All the IT/BPO centres are located in noida n gurgaon. Also only BPO is emphasized for gurgaon. Gurgaon n noida both have numerous development centres for various MNCs

Experts say that the city has the potential to beat Bangalore and Hyderabad in terms of infrastructure and thus gain the position of the most attractive IT destination. Today, it is the third most preferred IT spot in India.

Thing to note
by thomas on Feb 21, 2008 12:04 PM  Permalink  | Hide replies

The list mentions Mumbai Pune at 4th spot.Likewise Delhi at 6th spot implies Delhi Noida Gurgaon.Kolkatta is a hot destination for IT under Buddha-At fastest growth rate.Bhubneswar surprised many and it can owe this to Kolkata, where under Jyotibabu Infosys was denied entry to WB.

Mallus are clever. Thats why they have changed their state to #1 Tourist destination of India. Its their Billion dollar industry. And their state is clean and not Polluted like other grown up IT cities. And all the educated Mallus are employees in all the IT cities. You don't see BEGGARS on Kerala roads like you see in other states.Wake up guys ! IT is not the only thing in life to survive. And not all people working in IT are genious. Whoever working in IT talking bad about each other states and fellow Indians Touch your heart and ask for yourself WHETHER U R GENIUS .You will get your answer and don't need fight on these rediff blogs like DOGS about whos better and whos not.
