Gujaratis may not understand IT, they just employ IT geniuses and create world's greatest IT companies. Look at Wipro Azim Premji and TCS ( Tata), Mastek, all are Gujaratis. ( Patni also ? ) ! ! !

Oh Tata and Azim premji are Gujratis-You couldnt find any IT person means you say one Parsi and one Muslim belongs to Gujrat. It proves Gujartis are dominated by Baniyas.

Isn't Bill Gate a Gujrati too?See Gujratis have baniya brain-They cant understant high tech stuff-Sunita Williams escaped to US to move away from the rotten Baniya community in Gujarat to be an exception to the rule-But exceptions dont prove anything-Gujjus are best selling Achars and milk products.

Why Socking??????? People have also got shocked with 9/11, and many things in the past with even many scientist inventing something......
I presume things keep changing...and its not a Magic or Some Uddan Khatola to get Shocked.............
Oddiyya all over the world (FLAT World) should also get shocked and start thinking about the Roots and what they can give back to the state....interms of anything starting from Investing, doing something good, different to make BBSR a real great place. We should follow Andhra Model by giving back to the State in any forms and make things happend. Its high time WE ODDIYYA should do something and refrain people from getting SHOCKED... SHOCKING...including self
Incidentally BBSR also tops ( 7th) In terms of favoured investement hub for IT.....SO CHERRIO Oddiyyas and all the best.but do SOMETHING GRT..

Chandigarh an IT destination!!!?? Many people wonder what abt chandigarh? specially those who come from that area and work in delhi/gurgaon/bangalore/HYD & Pune etc. In 1998 first STPI was started in CHD, and Govt and Chandigarh admn made big noises about making chandigarh and IT hub. in 10 years where pune started late, mysore started so late and even Jaipur Got the GE/genpact first, chandigarh has been legging behind. Real Estate boom came first here than IT boom. small and mid size companies hesitate going there, and the couple of companies which are there find it diffcult to do local reqruitment, they have to look towards delhi NCR or other regions to find the required professionals. only few call centers opened. Quark is laying off, Dell is shifting ppl and making gurgaon office stronger. Infosys, and the only big flag on the map, hasn't planned further ever since they moved to So called IT part. Localites don't know what actual software development company is , for them a KPO, and claim processiong unit and a testing unit are all the same. I came from chandigarh, did degree at IIT(Powai), where friends came from mysore, pune, ghaziabad(noida), gurgaon etc, after degree we all joined IT company in bangalore. recently they all setteled comfortably back in their home town as they could better jobs with the same skills in their home towns but I can't as chandigarh still has to do a LOT to become Pune or Noida/mtsore.

Crab, In fact Kochi is also the fastest growing one! Writer missed it as usual.
The above destinations should include Gurgaon and Noida separately and Delhi should not be depicted here. Delhi in itself does not have major IT companies presence, it is only in Gurgaon and Noida. Aso basis of ranking is flawed, Kolkata cant be above Gurgaon and Noida in the ranking...
what's the point in showing hottest IT destinations,on this basis if somebody decided to go to Bangalore then besides salary will it be beneficial for that person,Bangalore is getting worst day by day in traffic conditions and in all matters, and this is the case in almost all the metropolitan cities, life in all the cities of India is getting worst nowadays,no doubt IT brings lots of money from outside but the circulation of that money limits only upto richer people, that is called gap with rich and poor, till how much time these IT destinations will prove beneficial for common man
IT is certainly beneficiary to common man by means of tax paid by all IT employees. But all those taxes collected are not properly used for the common man by the corrupted government. Peoples, will always talk about the plunge market but not about those sucide farmers. That is india's fate.
