Best FM? My foot! India has yet to see a sensible and right thinking FM.All these FMs only know to raise or innovate new ideas to collect more and more taxes, which any fool can do.The ingenuity lies not in incresing taxes but spending wisely.A rupee saved is rupee earned. This old adage which govt.tells others but does not follow itself.It would have been prudent for all FMs to import components at Zero duty to give impetus to local industries to develop products at internationl levels.It reminds me of a Clock manufacturing company who had to think of shifting to China for the problems it faced from customs,excise and sales tax authorities.The present FM should be awarded the Most Ingeneous FM award for bringing in newer and newer (wicked !) ideas to collect and impose new taxes.So far he has left two Lucrative professions from Service tax, one is Legal Profession and the other" The Oldest Profession on Earth".
India's WORST FM is Mr. P. Chidambaram. Year after year, PC is burdening middle class people, that too the working personnel in organized sector, with more taxes and service taxes. He is a sadist and yield pleasure in taxing the paying people more & more to satisfy the higher-ups elsewhere. He is insensitive to the hardship of the paying public and choking them without relief. I wonder how certain organizations consider him as an able FM, which is a myth. It is a shame to compare him to any of the earlier FMs. He is blood-sucker. He will not spare the paying public until they are left with a loin cloth and perhaps he may introduce a service tax for that also or an income tax for wearing that loin cloth also. Perhaps for ladies, he would be modest & considerate to have the bikini as well as thong, subject to the applicability of taxation. Such is his cruelty in cold blood murdering of the indian citizen.

FBT is sheer nonsense. another things thats totally screwed up this fm is the way he's cocky and arrogant abt his policies.
I think the best F. M. was Mr. Manmohan Singh. I am A Hard BJP SUPPORTER but in my view MR. MMS was the best f.m ever india had or have. and i think no one have problem in this. all othe F. M> are far behind from him. 2nd no. is Mr. T. Krishnamachari

yeah manmohan did good. i think the nda rule was good too - there werent too many bad things those days. unlike the current financial tyrant that we have now.
I HOPE HE WILL COME NEXT TIME AS FINANCE MINISTER. WCHIC PARTY COME IN ELECTION DOES NOT MATTER. IF NOT TOP FINANCIAL DESICCION COMMITE MEMBER. REALY MOVE INDIA TOWARDS DEVELOPE COUNTRY LIKE OUR EXTREM REALL DEMOCRATIC COUNTRY. SAME THING I LIKE SHRI KAMAL NATH, SHRI LALU PRASSAD, SHRI PATEL FOR AVIATION MINISTER.
