I was also surprised to see Bardhaman in the list. But, as per report Durgapur & Asansol is part of Bardhaman district. In that case the report is quite correct. I had been to Durgapur steel plant & Burnpore steel plant few times, lot of other industries are also around.
Bongus are real joke , lucky they didnt put any bengali slum as "next " capital investment land or Didnt mention as local fruitwala. It just like calling Ganguly as India`s best batsman ever.

You are from which part of India! People of your 'class' create problems as in B'bay. Who according to you 'bhagwan' is the best batsman of India? Someone from your family?

Bengali Babu! But Ganguly in no way the best batsman of India. He is the best batsman of West Bengal. I know Bengali Babu's can't digest it. they know only one name in Cricket and thats Ganguli.

The writer of the story may not have heard that there is a city called Ludhiana. He must be from West Bengal.
This poll is driven by real estate lobby in these cities!! The cities mentioned are ridicluously surprising!! this is another drive of builders and land mafia to invest in waste lands of these cities !!!
How come Bardhaman feature in Top 10 cities?? Never heard of this city before. What happened to cities like Jaipur, Chandigarh, Baroda, Jamnagar, Aurangabad, Nagpur, Nashik etc.?

All silly indians mooh bandh karo and Go to your classes. Its getting too noisy. Before blogging, first learn English grammar and Geography.
It is the simple fundamental that which city leads the list? The city which is not in the list, which earns a lot of money but not constructed in a systematic way, which is having vast area for extension/ modification, and finally a political leader who can lead a qualifed technical and administarative team. Money? It is available in plenty now-a-days! Lalu Prasad's Railway Department success story is an example P.Mani, Coimbatore
RE:How to lead in Growth Rate?
by nitesh sethi on Feb 16, 2008 11:51 PM Permalink
growth can not be maintained longer without peace and security and it is the most needed thing now a days and we are not giving ratings to individual persons. we all know about bihar which has got the basic desired infrastructure facilities (Water, labour)but has not dominated well and i think that it is not necessary to remind that how long lalu ji was the C.M. of bihar. it may be that criterion which were used to determine this may be best but at the same time it might be confused. i could not think before some time that a police station near my house in jaipur will be entitled to the best in Whole "ASIA" in which the countries like China and Japan dominates.
Wake up guys first of all we are indians so we should compare this figures from the fastest growing 10 cities of the developed countries rather and should take initiative to fill the gap then must go on another issue

All these cities are growing because of Bhaias and biharis migration. They should develop their own cities...
