i want to make clearance that even though banglr tops in IT.. ths has made banglr to develop n other sectors to including BioTech, telecom, many hardware sectors too.The density of cityis so coz of its development so i wud lik to rank banglr as '1'

I WOULD LIKE TO PLACE DELHI(NCR) AT THE TOPMOST POSITION THEN MUMBAI THEN CHENNAI THEN BANGLORE THEN SURAT,PUNE,KOLKATA,HYDERABAD,LUCKNOE,PATNA,JAIPUR. delhi (ncr) because ncr is fastest growing city .also a great study centre.banglore for just IT sector pune ahmedabad for management but delhi have all type of study centres like aiims,iit,amity,du,jamia,jnu etc......

bangalore university is the biggest university in india..bangalore has every thing u want..show me the neatness in delhi or chennai
Mumbai Delhi kolkata chennai bangalore Hyderabad Ahemdabad Pune Chandigarh Jaipur first 8 are metros because of population. Jaipur in terms of growing as a metro and chandigarh may be small is size but it has all what metro city has. Also chandigarh includes ( Mohali and panchkulla) .South have good nos. of metros but for north india After Delhi or NCR it will be Jaipur and Chandigarh.

Bardhaman.... How?... not that it wouldn't be good..... what about Bhubaneswar....East is way backward..... we need to push for dev in this region
I think rediff has forgotten NCR region due to it spread in 3 states which I think should come in 1st position the amount of employment it generated in last 10 years. Please give statsics of this region

Some more facts. 1. 1.5 million people, or one third of Kolkata population, lived in 2011 registered and 3500 unregistered slums. 2.Thousands of industries closed in 40 years commies rule in WB. 3.Kolkata has the Biggest illigal Bangladeshies population in India. 4.Kolkata is world famus as Bandh city of India. Max no of Strikes and agitation happens in Kolkata.
