Actually mallus work every where and contribute to the city's growth...Most of the city mentioned are actually developped based upon their British peroid..and no city in kerala is given so importance in british period...But any way its the responsibility of the govt to decentralize the services and make sure that every place is given equal importance..

Good to invest in Kerala before the real estate is bloated up. Better to invest early than joining the bandwagon.

Kerala is just sophisticated and kinda greedy. You have to get yourself suited to the style of doing business. Favouritism and Opportunism is simething we have to get used to if we decide in investing in Kerala...

Definetely, culture is lot different from Bombay

what makes u think that Hyderabad is useless ? probably u r not a true Hyderabadi. Hyderabad has grown by leaps and bounds. First of all there is no comparison between hyderabad with the financial capital of India. If you say that you are from Hyderabad, take pride in it. If you appreciate Mumbai, take pride in being an Indian.

Most people agree to disagree. Every city has plus and minus - nothing "rocks" all the time.

Mumbai is actually the worst of the lot.
Heavy population, lots of pollution, chaos and confusion on streets, high prices, lack of space,no time to relax, has the biggest slum in Asia, highest percentage of HIV population etc.
I can go on and on.
Hyd is a million times better than Mumbai.
I have lived in both cities for your info and I'm not a telugu or a local to be biased.

Yes Mumbai really rocks becoz
New epidemics after each mansoon in Mumbai
Mumbai gets under water every mansoon
People throw people out of train
People spread hatred on community lines
Progreesive govt cant catch terrorists who bomb them every year
indulge in uncivilised public representative like Thakareys
People shit on roads.Sometimes shits on railway compartments as well.

Reader's digest survey says mumbai is the world's most rude city(Rude-Uncivilised , Wild...)

Gujarat rocks !!!
Mr. modi should ask all the corporates who have their industry in Gujarat, to have their head offices in Ahmedabad. Then people will realise importance Gujarat.

All companies investing in Gujarat should have headoffice their and Gujarat should build more airports too.

He's Mr. S R RAO...his contribution to the turnaround of Surat is unforgettable. All the cities need such bureaucrats who dare to do things differently.

modi governance model
by asdfg on Feb 07, 2008 01:19 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

It is great to see a'bad as the number 3 in the fastest growing city but much to people's surprise, i have seen no IT sector boom in a'bad. But what I have seen in a'bad is one thing i haven't seen anywhere in India. It is the amount of development in the Infrastructure. Man you will be amazed with the roads, transportation, electricity, water supply. I believe, this is true development rather than just popping up bpo centers. The thing Modi has done has made a tremendous impact. He has provided the basic necessity of life to people in the villages in Gujarat, thus monitoring the flow of village migrants to the cities. If all the states only focus on this achievement of Modi, India will be a first world nation for sure in the next 2 decades. I truly believe, that growth and development in infrastructure beats everything as without nicely connected places, the flow of raw materials is disrupted adding to the cost of the finished product. With the focus on infrastructure you will have a tremendous boom no matter which state/city/country. Kudos to Modi and the AMC to ensure this.
