Kerala gets ready to celebrate a week of heightened productivity. kerala the land of intellectuals, perverted political class spouting dated theories ,engels, marx, lenin, mao, basu ... now karat, achu maman n pinarayi ... shining stars of
Kerala intellectual class.ability to read makes them intellectuals... the so called political class exploit the disgruntled elements of the society just like the shiv sena in mumbai make life miserable and industry, work impossible in this
state of maximum literacy. The person who built the only motorable road that doesn't get washed away at the first rains of the monsoon was driven to suicide by the parties. The roads in the entire
state have been erased and the contractors waiting for their pie and another round of digging for job creation. And now the motor strike.followed by the UDF strike and then
a strike to protest the previous strikes.. what else. Does Sonia,Karat,Yechuri ( ) or Advani have the sense to ask their party men to behave in this unruly state. They watch the fun hoping to grab the PM seat in the next
round.Of course the left never hankers after ministerial posts. They're happy ruining Kerala and driving the common man to suicide the most common solution to all financial
ills in this state of pseudo intellectuals. This state can never attract any investments.Businessmen are not fools to accept weeks of lost productivity.Which can happen only

While all other states are reaping the benefits of economic growth.Kerala has jobs only as head loaders;goondas nurtured by the parties in the name of
socialism. There are no people to climb coconut trees.Shortage of eggs, milk, rice.Nothing is produced in this state and then they complain of financial difficulties, lack of
employment. With all the economic theories of the idiots they're not able to come up with jobs other than head loading and road digging every year and of course toddy shops
at every turn. All sensible qualified people migrate to other parts of the country. All keralites enjoy the hartal filled week.Comrades.... exploitation
I'm learning and intrested to work on Carbon credits business.I'm sure that future will be on that.
I have the following plans to help India and Poverty line people to grow.
1) Based on Agriculture - Generating Natural Gases from Agri and Farm wastages and through ethanol.I'm generating Carbon credits.I'm interseted to create awareness this.
a) How to determine the Quanity of Carbon credit that's been generated?
b) Say Some X tonne is produced.Who & how they will be evaluated?
c) Consider ,If any officials will do that on evaluating it.who i'm suppose to contact? Do i need to register or become member on any concerns?
d) Do i have any offices to enquire ?
e) Through trees we can generate carbons. But how are we determining it.
Please do clarify and thanks a lot for your time and help.

Polysilicon is the key material for semiconductor and solar industries. Now polysilicon is in great shortage. Semi industry growth rate is 5 -10 %, while for solar it is whopping 40% and expected to last next ten years.
Anybody interested in setting up the polysilicon plant contact elsevier2007@rediffmail.com

This is like saying if you can't fart any less, help someone fart less and take credit for the same. Big farters can keep farting as loud and smelly since they are not signatories. This will surely help individuals grow richer. Why can't it be kept simpler? Exempt government from debt portions that way some day the developed nations will tend to be developing and developing ones to developed. Finally nowhere is it said that countries like america who do not and will not sign be in any way made to pay. The americans are willing to sell any story except being real to the fact that they are most notorious defaulters in this. Cow farts emitting green house gases was the biggest joke, I cannot buy cows farting more than american industries.

Hmmm...
Interesting analogy, dude! Farting with Global pollution. What a pity that I can't use this in any conference or training workshop!!
:)
Anyways, see this from the angle of macroeconomics. It says that to get rich, a country should do the best that it can do and outsource those things that can be done by someone else at cheaper rates.
This is what is done by US when it outsources the BPO jobs to India.
Now, industries in US can cut down the emissions but that would come at a cost. This cost is much higer than buying carbon credits from India.
In India, there are huge tracts of land lying barren and the people who are dependent on them are suffering with poverty and lack of opportunities to earn money. Now, if you and me open a new company, that takes control of this land, employ the poor to grwo forests on it- we can sell the carbon credits to US and Europe and make money. We can share this money with the poor and make his life comfortable too. The forest remain in India, and they improve India's environment. In long run, they help in protecting wild life, reducing pollution and soil erosion- and at some point ot time, give wood and other produce to the people.
Now will you still say that US Fart, if it gives money to Indian poor is BAD?

Why not? The problem is people always been wanting to give suitable example. There is nothing wrong with fart. It is a natural biproduce of your body. In old days I use to give example to my student while teaching computers... if you don't eat you don't "go" next day... So for every output there is some input required :-)

How can a small investor invest in carbon credit sitting in Kolkata? Email-suveshs@gmail.com
carbon credits yeah looks like the buzz word for this decade.. but we are just balancing the financial statements by putting a value to carbon.. are we actually reducing the emissions NO.. so the green house gases will still go on to warm the globe at the rate at which it is in the present.. so what are we talking about making the european countries richer..... the biggest culprit is US.. for all the development they have had polluting the world... dont think they would want to sign the kyoto protocol anytime soon.. with regard to india and china polluting the atmosphere with loads of carbon well... at a growth rate of 10 percent per year it just seems inevitable esp.. with power being the important driver of the economy...
so as i saw one of our friends over here suggesting to plant more trees.... well could help than trading carbon credits..
RE:Carbon credits.... well are u adressing the real issue of decreasing carbon emission ??
by Kaushal on Feb 12, 2008 12:59 PM Permalink
well its a zero sum game....if carbon emitted elsewhere is lower and somewhere else is higher...globally the emissions do reduce..hence earth as a whole is to be considered...and people need some incentive to pollute less...hence finance is important...planting trees is a good practice anytime...
