These comments make me really sad. We should be really proud of these boys. Being an engineer myself, I know how easy it is take up some project and do it for the sake of the course. These guys tread a new path and did something with passion. Most of the people I find in the Rediff message boards are absolute clowns with no sense whatsoever. Most of you suspect are total losers, incapable of doing anything worthwhile in life. Instead of encouraging these guys, you berate them. The car is a concept car, not concept on the scale of a BMW or a Daimler Chrystler, but a concept. Every big thing started from small beginnings, I wish them good luck and shame on the people who are berating them.

No need to get emotional .. we have to make our students realize the importance of making money with their concepts .. it may be a good effort but it is no where near to getting production ready even in next 15 years with that kind of design ..

If this is the level of engineers of our country I feel more sad than you ... that after doing BE MTech these guys are doing class 10 students projects on the name of engineering! Just checkout what Delhi College of Engineering students do every year in car making....these guys dont stand anywhere near to them!

yeah 97 cc and 2 bhp its got such incredible power and to think of it they are boasting 180 km /litre , of course with that specs it should actually do a lot more, man we are obsessed to call every creation comin from india a revolution, japan made a 700 cc running on water and will put in under production in 2 years , all we do here is create concepts and pipe dreams and i for one wont be caught dead riding a car shaped like a coffin for christsakes, call me pessimist or whatever this news is absolute shit , mechanical students in india made a car taht runs at around 100 miles and hr and compare it to this thing which runs on smaller than cycle wheels lol this is seriously lol
once upon a time, there was an artist with moderate skill level. once he thought of testing his skill level, so painted a beautiful picture and exhibited in a busy street with a note "if u find any mistake please mark on the painting". When artist came back in evening to check the response, he could'nt identify the picture bcos its full of marking.. the guy was very much depressed. His intelligent uncle suggested to draw another painting and with a changed note " if u find any mistake please CORRECT it" The artist followed the suggestion. 2 his surprise when he checked the painting in the evening there wasnt a single marking... so artist was very happy.. moral of the story.. i dont know
