Yeah CK Prahlad is a management guru whose own venture failed miserably. Remember how he launched his prajaa.com with all the fanfare - and lost his pants when it died without a whimper. Bol Bachan he is - couldn't even get a single company off the block after all those years of bakchodi. Goes to prove - people who talk DO NOT achieve.
The corporations are managed with management techniques applied with governance of the Govt. We in India have peculier circumstances, where neither our politicians/bureacrates think in an industrialist manner nor in a communist/socialist manner. We require our role model like Ambanis, Tatas, Birlas etc.,
How stupid the world around me ! How can you forget the most obvious ! Warren Buffet ! If you study him closely, you will realise he not only float around theories but makes them work to mint billions. After all everything boils down to wealth. He is not only a meer investor but a great management guru of all the time.

Why all those management gurus,so called spirutaul leaders and the increasing number of Indian billionaires join together and pledge and do something to save those millions and millions living in slums, and those thousands of kids die due to malnutrition in Inda?

Well said. Why Indians are only interested in management? All the IIT Engineers ultimately become managers in financial institution. Is manufacturing not fashionable any more? We are taliking like Americans as if India is rolling in wealth. With a huge populationlike India why are we not emulating China?
Where is Robert Kaplan and Norton, whose concept of Balanced Scorecard has become the greatest management thought in the 90s. Incidently the book Michael Porter wrote was 'The Competitive Advantage' not 'comparative advantage'. Why don't your people do some homework. Where is Phillip Kotler. Tom Peters is the most hyped management guru.

Both prahlad and porter borrowed heavily from ricardo's economic theory - The comparative advantages of nations!
