What a wierd survey...
by Uday Kumar on Aug 08, 2008 02:42 AM  Permalink  | Hide replies

How do bill gates and branson figure as management gurus?? They can be called management leaders but not in the same class as theoretical gurus like porter and prahlad...
also where do gurus like Amartya Sen figure in this? This is a very inaccurate representation.

Jaya, that's not all. Chowdhary is now busy managing advertisements (with his mug ofcourse) for IIPM. Watch out, he will soon be emerging as an Advertising Guru too. I only hope the guy doesn't finally end up as (Arin)DAMN CHOW-CHOW(dhary).

He is doing great work. He is also the owner and editor of the Sunday Times which is going great guns.

Also being goodlooking is also an important aspect of brand building, if you have not learnt yet, jayaji.

The Greatest Management Guru
by Jade on Aug 07, 2008 12:23 AM  Permalink

Good compilation. However some of the CEO's need not be included in the list. There are others who have created greater impact in the past.

"Michael Porter" is the greatest Management Guru.

Sandipan,

Philip Kotler is not a management guru. He is considered to be a marketing guru. Business is not only marketing.
